    Just watched it lol

The funniest bit was when he got knocked down, it was ruled as a no knockdown then the referee walked him to the corner and wiped his face with a cloth to help him recover !!!!

I'm guessing there aren't many boxing clubs in India if Singh is the best they have out of a population of 1 billion.

Indians arent well known in the world of boxing.Even here in the UK...indians dont tend to do very well in boxing wheras the British Pakistanis seem to be everywhere representing England in anateurs, winning ABA titles, theyve had pros like amir khan, jawaid khaliq, tanvir ahmed back in the early 90s fought for a british title. In the 70s there was a brit pak heavyweight in the top 10.

Looking at virginda singh hes got heart and that straight right u could cut an aloo gobi dish with.

He didnt seem right ..probably too many parathas and saag....if hes washed it down with mango lassi....than say no more....thats why he was looking to quit. The key thing is he didnt quit...thats a fighter.

I dont know if they had aircon in there he looked pale like he had heat stroke though youd think he'd be used to the heat.

Hes entertaining and i think he just needs to move to England, fight every month on smaller shows. You can see from his flabby body theres too much dal and onion bhaji in his constitution and hes made a right biryani of it on the night. He could easily shift down a weight class with a bout of delhi belly. But respect his heart its as big as a pot of rogan josh getting up all those times. The hollering ,crazed, raving morons in his corner must have been a distraction....ps what is the indian fascination with loudly speaking broken poor english to each other rather than their own language to each other?no other country does that.i guess a colonial hangover. The poor communication in his corner is defo an issue.it didnt sound like they could understand each others english.he needs a adam booth or dave coldwell type.

In short he needs a proper set up in the UK.Be a kind of Pricey like figure on every bill.youd be guaranteed entertainment with verginda.

Hes a ticket seller.Get him over

    No there is many, many.

For example. India currently have more pro boxers than Ukraine and most countries in Europe. You can see the stats on boxrec.

They send full teams to the Olympic qualifiers, world chanpionship every time. and they had a World Series of Boxing team.

Yet no single Indian male has ever won World championship Gold or Olympic Gold in boxing, and no pro has ever even come close to a world title. Extremely poor results indeed.

It's the same with football and the vast majority of sports. They underachieve massively.

Just because a nation is hopelessly terrible at boxing doesn't mean they don't do it. You mostly don't hear of them because they are fighting at such a low level and can never do anything . It's the same as football.Just watching Singh now and hes is a classic stereotype, they all seem to lack in many aspects at boxing such as punch power, chin, athleticism, he really looked like he hated getting hit.

You have extremely low standards. You think merely being ranked top 10 in UK, just challenging for a british title, and winning the odd English Aba title here and there (usually at light flyweight where theres about 3 boxers) IS ACHIEVEMENTS WORTH NOTING?

This is where your people go wrong because you have such low standards you think merely just taking part is a big achievement.

How many English- Pakistanis have won a British title in pro boxing?
    Answer = ZERO
Can't even get to domestic level.

What Olympic Golds or World championship or European gold medals? ZERO

The current GB squad has about 30 current boxers yet theres only one pakistani there and hes 3rd choice in his division lol. This amateur success you are talking about is a low standards lie/myth.

Everyone knows the GB squad don't enter the ABAs any more. And it's only English boxers. So you jumping for joy for getting one or two Abas champs every other year is nothing much, its like the equivalent of being the 7th best in the country in their division or something. What happened to ABA champs like Waleed Din and Quais Ashfaq in the pros .. they all did nothing.

Pakistanis are the worst boxers I have ever seen in my entire life. Glass jaws, feather fists, weak, low standards, don't like getting hit. Seen it time and time again

You're right that there's been loads of them. But they are all at a low level, leisure centre. Not good enough. Most even hardocre boxing fans throughout all of these years will only be able to name Amir Khan (and hes been a big laughing stock) that's it because who's gonna remember or know Kash Ali, Adil Anwar, Uzzy Ahmed Adnan Amar, Atif Shafiq, Nadeem Siddique, Haroon Khan, Faheem Khan, Quais Ashfaq, Amer Khan, Waleed Din, Zahid Kahut, Muhammed Bilal Ali etc etc etc unless they went viral fir their hilariously glass jaw.

What's particularly bad is that I reckon there's probably been more Asian-British fighters than Black-British fighters over all these years. Yet theres been countless black Brit champions at all levels .. British, European, World (especially in the 90s) They can fight, pakistanis on the other hand couldn't be any worse and constantly fail and can't get to any decent level.

Despite all his flaws. Price could probably punch harder when he was at primary school than Singh can now. Singh has nothing, hes lacking in every department

Yes he'd sell loads of tickets to low standards Indians who think he's something when he's clearly not. But it'd be embarrassing having such a terrible boxer on the card.

Didn't he wear a turban as an amateur under his headguard? I seem to recall reading since headboards were put over it it didn't give an unfair advantage but in the pro game turbans are banned.
