Bowe on points. I don't see him stopping a prime Povetkin though.

So because he was a champion his era was a strong one ? That doesn't make any sense. And you can clearly see in the post i called Klitschko an ATG. Regardless the Klitschko era lacked the competition that the 90s and the 70s and even the current era has.

And I've said in another post in this thread the the Bowe/Povetkin fight would be competitive

Current era for sure doesn't looks that is more competition than their era. For sure both : lesser than 70 ies.
Top boxers in their prime not often fights vs opponent in prime and close in their rankings.
It isn't Foreman vs Frazier era for sure.
If Pov will be 37 y.o or older, then Bowe most likely had won vs him.

I think Bowe is overrated but he wins this fight.

Golota's prime lasted the time that he put a beating on Bowe. Strangest case in boxing history.

Closer fight than most want to acknowledge. They steered Bowe away from punchers, and when he did fight guys who could punch a little bit--Holyfield, Hide, Golota--it was always touch and go.

    I see it as a pick-em.

You mean the era where middle-aged versions of Holmes and Foreman and a former LHW were successful, even becoming undisputed champions (Foreman and Moorer)?

I do agree there were some very good fighters in the early 90's, but that era had its spots just like this one. If a former LHW and fighters that hit their prime 15-20 years ago were at the top of the food chain now, there would be no end to the lamentations about what a truly pathetic era this is.

My money would be on Bowe in this particular match-up, however, but Povetkin is certainly in there with a good chance. Would be a great fight.

Prime Bowe v Prime Povetkin only has one winner imo.....dont even see it being close. Bowe wins by tko around 6th or 7th

    Because his origin?
I think 30-36 y.o Pov will KO prime Bowe but 37 y.o and older Pov most likely will had lost fight vs prime Bowe.

Povetkin would probably have a real shot. Aside from Vlad, the fighters that did coped the best with Povetkin were speedy, "Eddie Chambers-type" fighters. Not exactly Bowe's game - though Bowe could move and use his jab when he felt like it. Povetkin was the deadliest pressure fighter in the world for a good half-dozen years or more.

I will again point exactly about language, I suspect that your skills in this language are not far better than my skills.

This is your personal opinion. Surprisingly like you I too do have rights to have my personal opinion.
This most likely is damn surprising to you.

Bowe was in another class than Povetkin period. Not a competitive fight imo

That's a bold prediction since even Herbie Hide and a long past it Tubbs gave him competitive fights. You don't think Povetkin could match those guys?

The best opponent Bowe made light work of (after losing the first round) was probably Bert Cooper. Next to him maybe Donald or shot Dokes. None of those three were anyway close to prime Povetkin in quality.
