I believe you are thinking of Rocky Lockridge. Some guy walked up to Rocky when he was older and got in his face, and Lockridge knocked him cold.

When you had met Dempsey and how he looked? ;)
What kind of impression you had when you had met him?

Ohhhh. I had the chance to meet and talk to Jimmy Lennon Jr at Claressa Shield's first championship fight in Detroit . Fantastic guy, shorter than I imagined. Gave me great tips for announcing and getting your name out there.

Teddy Atlas, surprised how small he was in height, but he makes up for that personality wise, very big in his speech and conversation. Had a good time talking about the all time greats and training styles. It was very insightful. He may remember me still but I doubt it. haha.

i have known/worked with a few british journeymen who people may/may not have heard of -
Gus Mendes - fought Herbie Hide, Lou Gent, worked on a few doors with Gus, top guy
Adam Cale - fought the likes of Matthew Barney, Neil Simpson, Tony Moran. Nice guy but i get the feeling he had taken a few too many punches
Carl Allen - Carl fought pretty much everyone on the domestic scene and had 140 fights, was delivering car parts in his day job when i met him, always happy to chat
Dean Hickman - did a bit of scaffolding with Dean, again, nice lad

Hardly a list of legends but guys who played a big part on the domestic scene and are largely forgotten

yes, the very same. Adam said he was the strongest guy he fought and was literally growling as he threw his punches
