Joseph Parker vs Shannon Briggs

Parker coasts to a boring UD without leaving first gear.

 

Both at their best, Parker’s chin will get him through the rough parts until Briggs ran out of steam, I think he stops him late from behind on points. Could be wrong, he could just be to much fighter for Beta Joe and crack that chin before he gassed. Parker’s a complete let down considering the physical tools he has. A big strong athletic man, tough, fast, an he always finds away to make it a hard fight no matter the level of opponent. If he was my friend I’d tell him to pick another career at this point

 

Right now, Parker by nasty KO.

Shannon has never beat one good fighter in his whole career (sans the Foreman robbery)

Got to go with what most everybody else is posting.

Could be some rough spots but I think Parker takes it. Many here in the General are giving Joe P lots of criticism. Not saying it's all undeserved. But it's like some have said - maybe he's just a bit too nice of a person. Seems like a great guy to be pals with.

 

Almost anybody with a positive record could beat Briggs....except for Sehei Lyakovich, or course.

 

Briggs sadly was asthmatic
