Ingle is a good trainer, he cant really be blamed for this loss. Andrade is a world level operator, Williams clearly isnt but put in a very very good perfomance. Dom did a great job with him.
Anyone with any brain cells can see that Dom's done a great job with Williams in 2 and a half years. In this fight his corner work was spot on. You could constantly hear him shouting to "Step outside" Williams has had a lot of praise for his performance. His fitness and conditioning was excellent. You'll always get snipers but the relationship between boxer and trainer is what matters. The troll who started this thread must have been banned 20 different times now. He's probably working on a new account in the hope that Barry doesn't win on the Canelo bill. What a loser.
Haha Tunde, ye your right. Imagine saying lions in the camp in the middle of one of the biggest fights of his fighters career. A fight where his fighter is behind and just needs 2 things...1st is some sound technical advice on how to get around Arthur's stepping back behind the jab and the 2nd bit of advice is he needs to stop posing for the cameras. And instead poor Yarde gets. "Lions in the camp" That Tunde guy is crazy.
Dom seems to attract the haters with his physique and his no-nonsense manner. He doesn't rim lick promoters but has still managed to train 4 fighters to world title wins in the States. If he's not a top trainer, name a British trainer who competes with that.
Callum Smith's win over N'Jikam is his only success in a world title fight in the States. Welcome to the board, "new member"....
Ingle's record with heavyweights is particularly impressive I must say Richard Towers, Kash Ali, David Howe, Pele Reid, Zahid Kahut, Karl Bell, Carl Baker Never managed to get a single one of them to even domestic level
Not sure if its still the same but unlike a lot of other trainers....doms gym door is pretty much open to anyone. He works with all levels or they used to anyway. Probably why everyone isnt a world level fighter.
It's not that the trainer is bad. It's that you let promoters sell you the idea that Liam Williams is a world class fighter and that Andrade is an even match up.
