Eddie Hearn says in his latest video that any future deal will have all the shows produced by Matchroom Media with Hearn controlling the narrative ( his words ). Looks like things aren't going to change but perhaps get worse.

Yeah that bit was weird to me. He said that's very important to him that they control the production and I don't think he means control over the little sparklers they put on when AJ comes out. Sounds to me he's had issues with Sky over this and been frustrated with the way they do things.
There’s a massive market no doubt but from what I’ve been told it actually did no where close to 1.5 million buys. From what I was told it did close to a quarter of that. jame Paul is a master of hype and released that figure himself when asked off the cuff within a couple hours of the fight. A lot more than any boxing PPV over the last few years however.
I agree but from what Hearn is saying it’s winner stays on amd sounds like a lot of fights are going to be inter promotional fights ufc style. If that’s the case at some point in the future maybe we get very unbiased comms if both are Matchroom anyway. Will be interesting though
I agree. Whilst I think Hearn has in general been good for British boxing, his poor cards outweigh the good ones. The best thing about Warren was that he’d have a British title fight on every other week and they’d usually be competitive, and on other occasions it would be a commonwealth or even European title fight.
