Margarito would've won a clear decision. Baldomir wasn't the most talented guy but he was determined and was every bit as tough as Margarito. I'm hard pressed to think of any other active fighters that have beards as good as Baldomir and Margarito....James Toney perhaps.

I think t would have been a good exciting fight Carlos wouldn't just lay down both have great chins margarito is more diversed I would have rather see Margarito/Baldomir than Cotto.

    Margarito would easily handle Baldomir.

Baldomir is a tough cookie but Margarito is also a big welter who comes forward relentlessly and throws many more punches than Baldomir. Plus Baldomir's lack of power will become even more emphasized on Margarito's chin.

Baldomir has nothing to win this fight with.

Baldomir was a limited journeyman who was lucky to face an overconfident Judah and a shot Gatti. Against any top world class fighter at their best, he would get embarassed, just like he did against Mayweather.

I think it will be competitive to some degree. He's got about as good a chin as anyone and he's a huge WW. Both guys are limited skillwise. It will be a war of attrition. Marg probably wins but i also think Marg overrated by so many on this board. He's also a very limited fighter skill wise.
