To me it looks like GGG is disinterested. I can't blame him he has made good money and is 39 years old I wouldn't be surprised if he just waits and doesn't fight until new years eve against Murata.

    GGG needs to retire

I don’t want to see him get hurt in there or getting beaten to the punch by fighters who wouldn’t have been able to land a glove on him 3 years ago.

    Retire....

Yes, he's basically cashing out now via a combination of age and lack of interest. He was already heading that way and if he had one final big, meaningful fight left, COVID put paid to that.

We'll see him probably a couple of times more, but I doubt we see anything that is meaningful. He'll probably motivate himself enough for one more fight and give a semi-decent showing which could well be enough to beat Murata. Maybe that will set up a third match with Canelo in which he gets KO'ed for the first time in his career and calls it a day.

I agree with what some of you have said....GGG does seem like he has a bit of disinterest lately. Possibly if had experienced a lost earlier in his career than things would be different right now. Seeing GGG fight at least 3 times a year is what fans want to see, if he is disinterested, than so am I. No point in getting hurt, time to step down!

I would love to see him fight Murata or Andrade. Those would be solid wins at this point of his career. Idc who he fights though, just want to see him in the ring again.

He’s killing time in hopes of a canal Ltd at with Canelo. I don’t blame him because his skills are not what they were a few years ago when he beat Canelo and was robbed. He will probably lose legitimately this time but no way Canelo knocks him out.

buterelo cherry picks and is only nevada champ not even U.S boxing champ.
Dumbasses worship this horsemeat clenelo like Jesus while clenelo doesn't have balls to fight outside of U.S for serious reason and also he fears like death to fight everywhere not called Nevada for damn real serious reason.

Canelo will probably not face a legit opponent outside of Vegas but he has taken the Clen show to Texas and I believe he plans to do it again against BJS. He’s a money maker so he can do what he wants, take PEDs, stack the deck with corrupt judges, etc. he’s a good fighter and can probably still beat any MW these days without cheating. I hope he goes down to 160 and tries to unify the belts. Instead of jumping up and down in classes to beat the weakest challengers. That’s my main gripe.

ROFLMAO Clenelo would love that if it was true . Thats why he's NEVER given GGG a fair fight in Vegas because everyone thats honest knows Clen Boy has NEVER beaten GGG Legitimately !! The Vegas mafia ( judges) were programmed to ensure Clen never lost

Hes at the age when he's just looking for big money fights.

Hes not interested in just fighting for the sake of it.

But one thing GGG has over Clenelo is the pleasure of knowing that every unbiased boxing fan knows Gennady is Clenelo's Daddy. GGG beat him twice but corruption robbed him of his deserved wins. He doesnt need Clenelo, its Clenelo needs him to try to prove he's the better man. But sadly he hasnt got the balls to do it. GGG needs to tell Clen to stick it where the sun dont shine

He should retire he's over the hill, most avoided champ of recent years, nothing left for him to prove
