And who is Crawford? A supposed top pound for pound guy with no elite wins at 34 years of age. So how is he not ducking fighters? Garcia and Porter fought. Porter and Spence fought. Spence and Garcia fought. Thurman and Porter fought. Manny and Thurman fought. Thurman and Garcia fought. All these guys are tangled with each other and only one guy is missing. But I guess some people see it as they are all ducking him. I don’t know. I’m not a smart guy so maybe my view is a bit skewed. To me, seeing all these fights tell me who Crawford is.
Danny Garcia was offered 3 million to fight Crawford....did not even respond. Porter was offered 1 million and then 2 million to fight Crawford....but the amount(s) were "disrespectful. Mikey Garcia was at 135 for TWO YEARS when Crawford was in "the weak 140 division" and never agreed to fight Crawford for the unified titles. Spence has had the excuses of "let the fight marinate" "he is on the wrong side of the street" and it should be a 70/30 split. Clear enough for you. While I wish Crawford had signed the contract with Pac even though the money did not come to fruition, the FIGHT was NOT going to happen without the money being put up. If PBC thought they had anyone who could beat Crawford they would make the fight. Garcia, Garcia, Porter and Spence.......crickets.
You haven't heard one word from any fighter out there that said Crawford is ducking them and that includes Manny and Porter.
This is an irrelevant point I’d say. Just tell me who Crawford is then when all these guys are fighting each other and he’s the only one who isn’t involved. If he’s not ducking them than what do we call a guy who is in the same division where everyone else is fighting each other?
This is simply stupid. It ignores the fact that those guys are all on PBC side. Tell me which non-PBC fighters Spence, Thurman or Porter have fought? It is a strategy by PBC to freeze Crawford out. I am critical of Crawford for not making the best of the opportunities he has but I have no criticism of him for not fighting the PBC stable as they have actively worked on not fighting Crawford. Maybe we should turn that question around and ask why none of the PBC stable have fought Crawford. Porter is the mandatory for Crawford but made no attempt to fight him. Same for Garcia when he was the mandatory for Crawford. If any side has ducked in the battle between PBC and Crawford, it has been the PBC fighters with their ridiculous demands of Crawford but there has never been an offer from any the PBC fighters to Crawford.
