I don't know if this newsflash has been posted yet...from my main source of news, the impeccable Sun.

MIKE TYSON will fight Lennox Lewis in September, it has been confirmed - with the pair having a combined age of 109.

Iron Mike, 54, has been hunting for another fight following his November comeback draw with Roy Jones Jr.
Tyson had been set for a third fight with Holyfield in Miami this May before the deal fell apart after the veterans failed to agree on money.

But now Tyson has confirmed he will face Lewis, 55, in September, having lost to the Brit earlier in his career.

He simply told TMZ: "I'm gonna fight Lennox Lewis. September."

Holy ****, I'm time-warping back to the 90s. I wonder if one of my graduate school roomies spiked my drink!

If Lennox Lewis is fighting, this makes him the true Undisputed Linear Heavyweight champion of the world.
I guess Tyson Fury moves down the rankings to number 2. :risas3:

I'd rather we not go down this road, but it is what it is.

I've said this before but it's pretty sad how I'm looking forward to exhibition fights with these old timers more than actual match ups from this new generation.

I wish they'd all call it a day and stick to training/interviews/speeches at gala dinners. The only thing less appealing is these D list social media/disposable culture nobody celebrities 'fighting'

Surprised at this, but i suspect it wont happen as Lewis will want to wait until Mike declines further.

Well Mike has had one fight already and looked ok!!!

    Indeed.
The lineage was renewed in his last fight.
