Nice to see Fitzgerald back and I'm pleased for @Oreet Cha! getting to see his man get a run out, a quick glance at his opponent suggests that this should be a relatively easy workout for the Madman, just what he needs. I just pray that he's in some kind of decent condition both mentally and physically for this because we really need him to push on now, I love a success story when they've totally hit rock bottom and bounce back, Fitz has written his script, he just needs to not fluff his lines.
Really good interview with Eubank Jr on IFL. Away from his Father, he is so likeable and talks so much sense, so open and honest also. Well worth a watch if you haven't seen it, tells you his break it's Booth.
I think Taylor is much past her best and a lot of more beatable than she’s made out, whether or not Jonas is good enough I’m not sure though.
He's a good lad tbf. Doesn't swear much or put on a fake roadman act like benn's boy (the christian family).I just hope he can kick his career back into gear again.
Made me laugh when Hearn said on his instsgram post a few days ago it was one of the best cards he has ever put in. Where is Haye, haven't seen anythnig of him this week in the build up?
What's worrying is that is a recurring theme for the last few shows now. Shows you how poor the other quality of fights are in comparison.
As an aside, anyone else pissed off already with the over exposure that Campbell Hatton is getting due to his name only? I really want someone to spark him out and send him to the small halls to learn his craft properly, not his first 2 fights being on PPV!! There are probably better domestic boxers at the weight out there who don't get a look in, it stinks. He, even as I type, hasn't got an opponent for 2 days time, expect someone with a record of 0-54-1 to appear on the bill to face him from Hungary. I'll be making some some food or having a dump when he is on. Boils my p*ss!!!!
Women's boxing is dreadful, unwatchable. Who bothers to watch that ?? The fact it's even being discussed as "the best fight" on the card of a PPV featuring two 'name' heavyweights, just goes to show how ridiculous PPV has become now.
Hearn did this with Benn too, calling up unprepared fighters at a day or two's notice, who had day jobs, to fight the son of a former World Champion who had done nothing but train and relax in the weeks running up to the fight.
He probably just can’t be arsed telling us that Chisora has ‘paid the price in the gym’ and ‘he’s doing things I’ve never seen him do’
