It's "Payaso". If you want to insult someone, please at least get the spelling right.

If I'm limited to one year, then I'd make it sometime in 1994, to approach Bowe with a 50 million guarantee to fight Lennox Lewis. I'm sure he'd take it.
Lewis would get less, being only the WBC champion, but I'm sure 30 million would dry his eyes.
The venue would be Yorktown, the place where the last battle of the war of Independence was fought, or so I'm told.

I'd make it a real country vs country theme, to stir up nationalistic fervour.
    Lennox representing jolly olde England.
    Bowe representing Uncle Sam.
No expense would be spared to promote the fight.

Since Yorktown seems to be a small place, I'd erect a purpose-built hotel (or three) and huge stadium just for the event. If the town doesn't have an airport, it would get one.
The stadium would be an open-air stadium just because I've got a thing for them.
The undercard would be stellar, although I'm not sure who I'd have on it yet. I guess it'd be fitting to have a French fighter on it.
But yeah, Bowe-Lewis for all the marbles and territorial pissing rights.

I'd go for 113AD. Good times in the Pax Romana.

In 113, the Roman Emperor Trajan decided that the moment was ripe to resolve the "eastern question" once and for all time by the decisive defeat of Parthia and the annexation of Armenia; his conquests marked a deliberate change of Roman policy towards Parthia, and a shift of emphasis in the "grand strategy" of the empire.[3]

In 114, Trajan invaded Armenia, annexed it as a Roman province, and killed Parthamasiris who was placed on the Armenian throne by his relative, the king of Parthia, Osroes I.[18] In 115, the Roman emperor overran northern Mesopotamia and annexed it to Rome as well; its conquest was deemed necessary, since otherwise the Armenian salient could be cut off by the Parthians from the south.[18] The Romans then captured the Parthian capital, Ctesiphon, before sailing downriver to the Persian Gulf.

I would try to make Dempsey Wills happen.

I would offer Dempsey a ridiculously high purse, so that he had no possible excuse.

If he took the money, then you would have a precedent, that could not be ignored.

Intriguing Heavyweight picks. Foreman-Quarry would have been a fantastic fight

I would make the following fights happen:

    Goddard v Sullivan
    Goddard v Corbett

And far more earned by Quarry and deserving to the public than Foreman-Roman.

July 1967, Instead of Smoking Joe Frazier fighting George Chuvalo in Madison Square Garden, I would have Yank Durham relent and have Frazier meet champion Muhammad Ali in Madison Square Garden, the venue of his last title defense against Zora Folley on March 22nd. Ali and his attorneys work with the draft board to ensure such a 15 round match. On the undercard would be champion Bob Foster of 1970 vs Matthew Saad Muhammad of April 1979, 15 rounds.

Time travel is theoretically possible according to physics professionals - but only FORWARDS in time.

Therefore I'd head to 2121 and probably liberate the world from tyranny and decriminalise boxing which had been banned by President Harris in the first of her 24 consecutive terms following Joe Bidens mysterious dis-intergration live on national TV

I'd go to 1946 to see a few fights of a prime SRR and towards the end of the year I'd pay him and Burley to have a match

But both would be past their best by then, especially Marvin, who happens to be one of my favorite fighters.
Why not go to 83-84 and make them fight then ?
