And that's why I love him, he if had a pocket full of F's, he wouldn't give you one He is a legend, a real rocknrolla.
Yeah, I think he knows, they all know, you only have to look at the views on the videos on IFL, Sky Sports Boxing and others on YouTube for this card. Poor, really poor, the odd interview has had decent numbers but they know this isn't a good seller. I've barely seen an advert for this anywhere, the advertising has been poor, they are not going to waste money on this one. Like you say, the hardcore Matchroom mob will buy it, the ones that will buy anything without question. And Hearn had the nerve to have a pop at Mayweather Vs Logan Paul in his latest IFL interview, saying he won't be buying it, basically saying it's a money grab... but he said he understands because he "loves a pound note", so he is telling everybody he would do the same and is basically doing the same because he loves money. Also This is the same Hearn that put KSI Vs Logan Paul, both 0-0 as professionals on PPV, the same Hearn that has said he would do KSI Vs Jake Paul.
I think it was because I said I love Kalle because he is crazy. I do love him though, I can't help it.
Even Kugan Cassius kind of called him out on his mocking of the "Jake Paul card" the other day, Hearn was talking like it was some sort of sideshow crap (which it is), and Kugan says "but you were doing it (less than) a couple of years ago !" Hearn basically started the whole thing, saw them do their 'white collar' thing on youtube, then brought them into the licensed/official boxing world.
Yeah spot on. Fair play to Kugan he did it in the interview I saw today, Hearn defended his PPVs by listing off fighters on the bill, didn't meantion FIGHTS, but the fighters, huge difference. And that's exactly what he is doing now, he wants "names" on the card so next month he can turn around and make it sound a lot better than it actually is.. Katie Taylor, Chisora, Parker, Hatton, Eubanks Jr, Bivol, Fitzgerald.. that sounds great until you look at the actually fights. It's Hearn tried and trusted sales techniques, he don't want people looking at the small print. Listing names like that sounds a lot better than saying "Hatton Vs Dean, Eubanks Vs Morrison, Bivol Vs Richards, Tennyson Vs Straffon, Fitzgerald Vs Trenel, Johnny Fisher Vs TBA" Sounds a lot different when you also name the opponents.
I'm not sure if it has bypassed you or if you're trying to be awkward. Can you not read between the lines?
Del Boy plodding forward, eating shots, wildly missing with his own, losing round after round. Adam Smith: "Chisora really turning up the heat in this one. Looks like he's getting to Parker with his relentless warrior style. You can see how much it means to him in there." Tony Bellend: "Totally correct Adam. Parker really doesn't like the pressure. I've given Chisora every round so far."
