I think the next 3 years may be the best 3 years in heavyweight boxing since the 90s.

The top 10 has been a bit of a joke for a while, especially seeing as a lot of the people in it have been inactive for long periods of time, been inconsistent or lacking desire, or have questionable records with a lot of crappy opposition.

But now I feel like it's crunch time, and things are starting to shape up after a bit of ups and downs -

Over the next 2-3 years we have -

-AJ and Fury likely hitting their primes.
    - Fury maybe managing some consistency.
-Ruiz looks like he's actually taking things seriously now.
-Wilder may still pull off a shock upset.
-We have Whyte reaching his prime
-Parker changing trainer and making a comeback.
    - Usyk getting his chance finally
    - Hunter making things interesting.
    - The likes of Hgrovic making an appearance.
    - Dubois becoming of age.
    - Basically, it looks like the best are finally being formed and are going to actually fight each
    other.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Great Potential fights in the next 3 years are -

    AJ v Fury 1 and 2
AJ vs Ruiz 3 (But Ruiz is actually serious)
AJ vs Wilder (Please let this happen)
    AJ vs Usyk
    AJ vs Whyte 2
    Wilder vs Ruiz
    Wilder vs Whyte
    Fury vs Wilder 3
    Fury vs Whyte
    Fury vs Usyk
    Parker vs Usyk
    Parker vs Whyte 2
    Hunter vs AJ or Fury
Hunter vs Usyk II - Heavyweight addition.

It could be entertaining, but for the era to make for most of itself the top guys need to fight the top guys instead of trying to protect records.

Gallen, Allen, Fury, Joyce, Joshua, Wilder, Usyk, Whyte, Ruiz, Dubois, Hrgovic, Hunter, Ortiz, Helenius, Gassiev, Wallin and Paint Dry Parker could be in good scraps. Okolie and Briedis if they decide to move up, too, at some point.

But no doubt stinkers like Breazeale, Chisora and co. will continue to be sold as contenders.

The way things are going the only thing on the list i can definitely see happening are joshua vs usyk, And usyk vs whyte. These boxers can always find a way to avoid fighting eachother, especially if they lose before they get their title shot.

Let’s hope some of these guys fight each other soon. Their primes won’t last long. But money will probably cause some of these fights to either come too late or never at all. Purse parity and all that.

In recent times, seems like the big names in most divisions don't all come together until they get closer to the end of their careers.

Hopefully, the early 2020s will be a great time for heavyweights.

We just need the best fighting each other. That's what will make boxing better. Padding the record with bums and taking the easiest path to a mandatory slot is what brings the sport down.

It’s really now down to Fury and Joshua and their teams to sort things out. The actual belts don’t mean anything now there are so many of them. Not to the fans anyway. The winner out of these two will be as they say THE MAN. Undisputed/Lineal World Heavyweight Champion. No need to be unified. Hard to do that anyway with several champs just in one organisation.

11-0 (11 ko’s) have to see. Just that those sort of records don’t mean squat nowadays. They all start off that way.

Already 35 with no real history to speak of though. He's not far away from retirement and he's only just starting to do anything.

Possibly yes, if in fact fights amongst the top fighters come to fruition.
