Winner should fight Dillian Whyte. Parker deserves a rematch with Whyte anyway. And Chisora always produces a good fight with Whyte.
Enlisting the services of Andy Lee was a smart move. Lee has a very astute boxing brain and understanding of the sport and you can't buy the experience of spending years under the tutelage of the great Manny Steward. I don't see how McGirt is going to be able to help Chisora too much because Chisora is what he is: A big strong hard hitting teak-tough lump with a great engine who applies incessant pressure. Big - heavy, but not tall and has a tiny reach. Debatable. Strong - probably Hard hitting - Not really. Only regarded as such since the big PPV "war" Haye and Hearn push. He was never regarded as such throughout his entire career, and I've seen the lot of it. Teak-tough - Quite tough, yes. Lump - yes, of pudding. Great engine - If you consider taking 2 minutes off of every round a great engine then absolutely. You sound proper propagated.
Parker looked awful vs Fa and I'm not sure if the recent bad press back at home will have caused him any lack of focus plus the change in coach which could be good or bad. Chisora despite coming off a string of defeats has been churning out good performances, let's not forget he ran Usyk very close, some people think he deserved the nod. It's actually a 50/50 fight, I feel Chisora gave Whyte a tougher fight/fights than Parker did which is a common opponent they both share. I would favour Parker but I wouldn't be surprised if Chisora scored the upset.
Now that Parker is an honorary Gypsy (per Fury), his level of slickness will skyrocket and Chisora will be punching air. UD Parker.
If Chisora brings his A game and keeps the pressure on - he may well take it on points. Parker got well behind on the cards vs Whyte so the same could happen with this fight. Funnily enough I think a brawl may favour Parker. Parker definitely has one of the better chins of the top heavies. And he should have the conditioning to outlast Chisora over 12 rounds.
Parker via decision. I think under Andy Lee we will see Parker will jab more now, box more now and use his attributes correctly. Parker for a long time has fell in to this thing where he wants to stand and trade, have a fight, prove something to somebody, maybe himself, who knows. To be honest it was lazy, it looked lazy, it looked like he didn't really care. But Parker will have been encouraged to box, to jab, to do the right things at the right time. Chisora just plods forward, he is strong, he is tough, he tries to grind his opponents down, it can be very effective at times but Chisora isn't a mystery. I think Lee would have made instant changes with Parker and would have improved his greatly compared to his last outing against Fa. And don't sleep on Parkers toughness and grit, Chisora isn't the only one who can tough it out, Parker has some nuts, he doesn't mind having a fight and if he needs to at some point.. then he will. Chisora is tough enough to hang in there, so I see Parker winning by decision.
Pillowfist Parker will never win by KO. But don't worry he will beat Chisora by UD. It's Chisoras fate to loose to anyone with decent skill because thats what he is, a strong, tough gatekeeper with low ring iq that marches forward looking to land power punches just like Daniel Dubois. If you can beat Chisora you're a top 15 fighter that is ready for the world class fighters. This is pillowfist Parkers final exam and if he fails he'll be expelled, but if he passes then he can fight for a world title and loose
