While you raise very valid points, can you remind us how Parker fared against Takam who has a similar come forward style to Chisora? Stylistically it should've been a Parker KO right? If I recall correctly Takam wasn't spoiling, he just had a high guard and Parker couldn't land flush. I do agree that triangle theories aren't a magic formula however I think Parker not being able to KO any Top 15 opponent is a pattern he needs to break. He came oh so close with KOing Whyte so we know he has it in him. But yes agree with "no chance" being extreme. There's always a chance.
Takam was a huge step up for Parker, more or less his first credible opponent. Parker struggled to land as you say, but if he knocks out Chisora it will be more about Chisora gassing than about Parker's accuracy. Personally I don't think he gets the KO either, but all I want to see is some desire and interest. That's what I've been missing from him for a while now.
Parker is gonna be on the backfoot and ultimately win a decision. I don't see a scenario where he actually "goes for it" in an attempt to stop anyone, especially not a come forward head in chest brawler. He's gonna be crowded the whole fight. He'll definitely win a decision though
Exactly, Parker is a passive fighter. Happy to move and pot shot his way to victory. He isnt going for jack ****, with all due respect to certain posters here.
He only gets the KO if Chisora gasses badly and can't defend himself (like Whyte round 12 vs Parker), or if Chisora walks on to something big. I don't see Parker actually going for it either, but a KO isn't impossible (although unlikely) via the routes above. For the record, he has actually "gone for it" in the occasional fight (e.g. Dimitrenko, and some Aussie/NZ gatekeepers early in his career) but we never seem to see that Parker when against serious opposition and not for a while either. That's the logical side of it anyway, boring Parker close decision being the likely outcome. As a long-term fan (see profile pic lol), I'm still hoping that some of Andy Lee's fighting spirit will rub off.
Sending all blesses and power chakras to Dereck Chisora for tmro night. Believe brudda, you are an animal. You can do this and pull this off, a beast, a very solid genuine man. Dont let the customer support voice or the dirty dancing put you off, you got this Del. Sending wishes brudda, cmon.
I have the feeling Chisora pulls the upset. A fighter who wants to keep his career going at the top against a guy who has not been interested in years.
Big news in Nz is chisora being a ***** about walking out first and reconing British fighters get a raw deal, ffs we have all seen the visiting fighter get screwed by the British stopage. Chisora war is now Chisora the cry baby.
