In fairness, he was never much of a draw.

There was certainly a point when I found Hopkins to be on the verge of unwatchable.

Is Hopkins vs Wright the most boring fight in history?

Charles had enough pop to get it done. He was just very mechanical about it all.

Charles had superb pop at 175. He has a KO over Archie Moore among quite a few other notable fighters.

I actually liked Ward while he was active, enjoyed watching him, and was surprised to get more active on the Internet and see the distaste.

At the time I hated the second half of Maywesther's career feeling every fight that wasn't Pac was a waste. He was actually in a lot of great fights and his clean shots are good to watch. The snooze fests were rarer than they felt at the time. In hindsight, there was plenty of excitement even after he transitioned away from the PBF style.

Klitschko too, he had some great KOs, dramatic moments, etc, but he wasn't Tyson or Holyfield so it felt like a comedown. When he wasn't in a clinch he was fun to watch.

Hopkins though, that guy was just boring.

Not sure if I would call them boring? But I can only stomach Whitaker and Emile in small doses.
