Could be strap season for Sunny if he wins this he has shown he is a very good boxer and i think he could outbox anyone at Fly. The only thing is could his chin hold up to the likes of Martinez or Nakatani i think he comfortably outboxes both, Sunnys movement and footwork is exceptional.
Dunno why this has just dawned on me, maybe because these fellas are midgets and move around so quick, but i'm impressed how the refs are so quick to get out of the way when the fighters buzz about. If that was me, i'd be bumping into the fighters every 10 seconds.
Haven’t been reading this so far but thoughts on tonight so far. Who on earth gave Joe Joyce or Callum Johnson a microphone, let alone together. I heard at one point... Callum talk us through this sequence followed by 60 seconds of silence. And he’s the talker of the two. edwards looks really good technically but carried literally no power. Will look great against 90% of fighters be potentially a world champ but as soon as he unifies vs Dalakian or Cesar Martinez he’s toast. I expect Frank to Keep him world champion for a while before stepping up. Expect Muhammad Waseem next as a mando followed by voluntaries. this is before even knowing the result as Mthalane is known as being there for the taking for a while.
If Edwards stays on his feet he is a genuine champion not a British World Champ, Mthalane is old now but he is still a genuine world class operator ranked No1 by the ring. Edwards coming of age tonight and Frank has got a genuine star on his hands here, its a breakout fight and congratulations to Frank for bringing the guy through from the start of his career. Sunny will be unbearable on social media after this.
I'm finding this extremely boring, but admittedly I'm not that keen on watching men who are less than 8 stones.
who gives a monkeys about Warren? Have a word lad. We are boxing fans, this boy has boxed fantastically well tonight.
