Could be for any particular reason.

I've always loved the slip hooker-cut that Lora landed on Zaragoza at the 9:56 mark:

    Duran vs Moore & Barkley
Louis vs Pastor II (2nd KD)
    Moore vs Marciano
    Charles vs Walcott II

Edit: Sorry, my bad. Misread the title and thought you meant KDs that weren't KOs.

I LOVE that KD Charles got on Walcott, but my dad had to go and ruin the moment. He said that Walcott was off balance, the punch didn't land clean, Walcott was shaking his head out of frustration, and took advantage of the nine count. He said Walcott was never really hurt.

My dad was a martial artist for a long time and everything, so normally his opinion is right on, but I just don't get this. The fact that Ezzard was able to get that counter left in like that, from that angle, and while he was under heavy fire amazes me. How many other fighters can one think of that could do that? Truth is, I've never even seen Robinson or Ali do something like that.

Maybe the body blow Leonard lands right as he caused Duran to crumble psychologically and quit?

Charles was a lot better technically than Ali, and a bit better than Robinson as well. Robinson's physical attributes is what elevates him to one of the one or two best fighters ever, not his skillset - although that's hardly lacking either. Charles was the opposite; technical skill of the highest order, augmented by elite physical attributes rather than elite skills with some of the best athleticism ever. Both Robinson and Charles were phenoms, and and my choices for the second and best fighters ever, respectively.

Both were just a flat out better fighters than Ali.

The Right Minter lands against Hagler.

The initial smugness on Minter's face, is replaced by concern as he realises he has just annoyed The Marvelous One! (0.55 in the video)

Ali had more bad habits than either of them. Slipping, esp. early in his career, pulling his hand back when he jabbed, and letting himself get cornered, esp. in the early 70s.

Charles was the best defensively of the three. He could not throw a punch and make you miss a bunch, something he was better at than Ali or Robinson, and he was also a better feinter than either one. The biggest thing going against Charles in a greatness argument is his chain. It was fair, but Robinson and Ali were goddamn beasts when it came to toughness.
