Archie Moore from 1952-54 went 19-0 with 11KOs in that period. The wins are as as follows
    Harold Johnson
    Jimmy Slade
    Bob Dunlap
    Clarence Henry
    Clinton Bacon
    Joey Maxim
    Toxie Hall
    Leonard Dugan
    Sonny Andrews
    Nino Valdez
    Al Spaulding
    Frank Buford
    Joey Maxim
    Rinaldo Ansaloni
    Dogomar Martinez
    Joey Maxim
    Bob Baker
    Bert Whitehurst
    Harold Johnson
That ends three year period (go on to beat Valdez and Olson in 55 before losing to Marciano).
Question is What are some comparable great runs?

Leonard beat Benitez, Duran and Hearns in less than two years.

Ehh def quality wins not sure it comes close accomplishment wise in a short span. 19 fights in two years...and going against two LHW champs three times total. Handful of top ten HWs and more solid LHW challengers. That’s a crazy run

People fought more often back then. It's not like Moore would be having 20 fights a year in the 80s.

Def not. Would be hard to replicate the feat. Have to be like a Tyson with a lot of short fights. Have to check his two year run before winning it

Ezz Charles, if we take from his apparent robbery from Violent Elmer, up to him beating walcott for the title, is comparable. Take away the robbery and his 7/8yr streak is one of the best if not THE best in history

Charles' run from his comeback after facing Marshall and Military up until he won the title took four years; which includes his entire light-heavyweight prime. From Sep. 1947 till Sep. '49 he beat:

    Archie Moore
    Jersey Joe Walcott
    Jimmy Bivins
    Lloyd Marshall
    Joey Maxim
    Sam Baroudi
    Fitzie Fitzpatrick
    Elmer Ray
    Joe Baksi
    Gus Lesnevich

... as well as winning the heavyweight title.

Now if people list a 2 year span, of course it might actually encompass nearly 3 years...Such as January 1980-December 1982.
So if we want to be fair & accurate, let's decide if it can be that long as long as it happens to fall within calender years.

OR decide it must be no more than 24 months. If so, why not make it regardless of whether it falls neatly from start to end dates within a calender year.

Either way...How about SRR? I will, eave it to people more knowledgeable than me to select which of his runs is the best.
But he fought 199 bouts, sometimes with incredible frequency.
At one point he was 122-1-2!
Only losing to Lamotta, who outweighed him by 16 lbs.

Some of these guys were really good or Wolrd Class. Although nobody fights so many folks & all of them are excellent, just looking at teh record of his opponents, even at the start of his career they were pretty decent overall.
And got better, but from October 1940 through October 1941, he had an insane 26 fights!
Imagine literally fighting just over twice a month.

In his final calender year, when he turned, 44, he had 14 fights!
Then he was finally losing a fair amount, but somewhere between these dates & in his WW run you may well find the best ever run.
