I saw Bruno get stopped 2X by the round house wide wide right hands that Norton was famous for but Bruno also had very good punching power so while I think styles favor Norton, Bruno also had the power to get something started with a punch so he has a punchers chance

I didn't see bruno box with any savvy till he won the world title.he was a powerful hitter but not a natural boxer.his footwork and upper body movement for a world title contender was average and his left jab was telegraphe by his elbow moving before his shoulder.
    Norton would have ko'd him

Anyone see Bruno getting the win here??
Norton s got a rep for freezing up against the big hitters, can we put Frank in the same category as Cooney and Shavers?

Norton for me. Bruno doesn't have the aggressiveness needed and is a bit predictable.

Norton takes him apart for a late round ko in my opinion, Bruno has his moments but he can't deliver something that we haven't seen Norton handle previously.

Ken Norton of 1976 defeats Frank Bruno by TKO 8. Ken had that very awkward cross armed defense that was very difficult to penetrate. Not everybody can fight a prime Norton like George Foreman did in March 1974, only George could. Ken also employed a very sound body attack that could wreck havoc to his opponent, which Norton would do to the awkward southpaw Frank Bruno. Also Ken had that chopping right hand that could fracture mandibles of strong chinned fighters.

I slightly favor Norton but not with much conviction

Why are Mcvey and Mendoza banned? Did they finally have a once and for all showdown to the death?

Norton would beat Bruno soundly. Bruno was pretty good, but unless u have the huge punch , just good isn’t going to beat a prime Norton. Bruno wasn’t the quickest, was very predictable, .
