Apologies if this is a little off topic but last night's card was another where Barry Jones has yet to be utilised? Anybody know where Eddie has hid him? Just seems a waste to have Matt Macklin (who's linked to half the fighters through MTK) over a great analyst like Jones.

That wasn't a robbery. It was a close fight. Kind of strange how all I could hear between rounds was Delboy panting.

Chisora was pushing forward for 3-5 rounds maximum. After that Parker clearly outboxed him. Best he could hope was 114-113 with the shove down. Every other perspective Parker wins.

A robbery is when someone dominates a fight and gets 118-110 against in a prefilled scorecard ie Canelo

The little fatty showed Joshua with a glass chin and little heart.

Wilder, Fury and any genuine heavyweight takes out Tony Dosh PPV.

Chisora lands that telegraphed right overhead and job done - the problem is that any alert person sees it coming.

I think it´s intentional. He fights at a high pace so now he wants to get in as much oxygen as he can.
Same happened in the Derevyanchenko vs Jacobs fight. The commentators were obsessed with Sergiy´s heavy breathing and how it´s a sign that "he is already fatigued", yet Sergiy kept outworking Jacobs the entire night.

They LOVE unknown Mexicans. They go back to Mexico ready to be put on a DAZN show there or in the states.

It might all be true but he still did the most damage in basically every round.

This isn't amateur boxing, this is the pro game.

Clean, hard, effective punching is the no 1 scoring criteria and Parker did all of the clean hard effective punching.

None of Chisora's punches visibly shook Parker, but Chisora was wobbled on about 6 occasions.

Chisora's body work might have looked ok, but it wasn't clean or effective imo

Chisora-AJ would be just like Chisora-Haye. He's a handful but very limited. AJ would be forced in to returning to his old style but it would be more than enough.

I think the fact that Chisora endures at this level says more about the actual quality of an over hyped division than it does about his chances against a top guy. The guy was a tough but average plodder ten years ago and has had a hundred wars since then but still manages to do a number on these supposedly amazing ranked opponents all the time. Either he's a lot better than we give him credit for or the current crop of HWs aren't all that despite Sky/Matchroom's spin.

I thought the main event was a decent fight.
Not sure what people are complaining about.

Ortiz would school Parker and get hit a lot less if he fought Chisora, Parker is overrated, he`s pretty basic and just has fast hands and nothing more than that.

Why are you arguing for Chisora to get a chance against Joshua when there's literally 20 or more more credible opponents for Joshua? That's the point you seem to be missing.

    Outrageous.
