Hey nice list, can't disagree with too much there!!

Maybe Pittman's a little unlucky to be behind Lenny, otherwise looks fine to me:good

I agree Huricn Tauasa has a tonne of talent.
Just in recent times he has not fought the best opposition.
When he ups the opposition he will rise in the rankings no doubt.
If he KO's someone like a Dom Vea that would rise him at least half a dozen spots alone.

Yeah fair enough, I'm not having a dig or anything. I just don't think that two decent wins makes you the best. I'd argue that Rocky's wins over Ganoy and Earl are more significant. Daniel's one to keep an eye on though.

I agree, Daniel is definitely 1 to keep an eye on, but at this stage he needs further development & if he can get fights with the likes of a Echols or Joval it should benefit him further.:deal

I've been following boxing for the past 15 years, having boxed myself for 6 of those. Though I would never call myself an expert, I think my comments were on the mark (as many seem to agree).

Do you honestly think Mundine would have been given the decision if he had been a German fighter in Germany on that performance?
Yes, the bout was entertaining in that neither fighter got hurt and both kept a similar tempo, as far as controlling the ring and landing telling shots, Kessler had this in the bag.
    10 - 2 is similar to what I had,
For what it's worth, I can recall countless bad calls against foreign fighters in Australia that certainly puts us on par with Germany on biased judging.

My Aussie top five would have to include Jackson Asiku. He is still young, very talented and has only been held up by a few bad decisions he received in Aus. Still has a great future ahead of him no doubt.

It is not simply whether he lost or won, rather the manner in which he did it - hence why I used the Mundine vs Kessler fight as an example.

Ndou, although tough as nails has shown countless times now that he just isn't there and likely never will be (especially given the body clock). He has lost against the best, as well as guys like Witter and Mitchell who were only champs due to the plethora of sanctioning bodies.
Sure Katsidis may end up being similar in that he consistently loses to the best, however based on Casamayors achievments in the past and the fact it was an extremely close match, I think we are yet to see the best from Rocky.

I can't recall any up and coming Aussie fighter that has done so well against such a seasoned champ in over a decade. Kevin Kelley against David Reid years back is an example, but Reid did end up being a very questionable champ.
Sam Soliman against Winky was a great effort, though there were questions about Winky's health on that one - and unfortunately Sam didn't capitilise afterwards.

No worries, I agree to an extent but Casa had shown elements of decline which I believe Marquez will soon prove further.

As well as Kat performed, he has to improve further to win against a Casa/Diaz level of competition. His current style is just very susceptible to high quality level opponents.

In aus ranking terms I can't dispute that he should be right up there and I also hope he finds a way to KO Diaz, elavating his aus and world standing in one.

Personally Pittman has to be higher than Zappa, Dib and Dawson. Has fought better opposition. It's a top list though. Would melt my brain coming up with one.
