It was a great fight today. Clearly, Morrison is durable and brave. Eubank Jr seems to have given up on his strength, which is high pressure. A Mexican trainer would have enhanced his offensive attributes. Instead, Eubank Jr got hit ... A LOT ... and he was tactically better, but not by much. Will Roy Jones as a trainer end up getting Eubank several titles?
No, i think he regresses as a fighter, style change this far into his career is just going to confuse him.
I thought Eubank looked unconfident and weaker than usual. Jones jnr imo is trying to install fundamentals maybe in a fighter that it’s to late with, I don’t know. I thought he looked like he was gonna get stopped at times. Not a good performance at all
That is what people don't realise. I agree that Eubank didn't look great, but Marcus is durable and technically sound. Eubank did well considering this fact.
I just want Jr to fight a legit world class pressure fighter this year. GGG or Murata, I think stylistically he is much better against that type of fighter. Kell Brook or Liam Williams next and then GGG or Murata at the end of the year. Stay away from slipppery counter punchers for a bit.
Very much disagree. GGG mostly jabs guys that throw back at him. Jacobs, Canelo & Derevyanchenko etc Jr would definitely do a lot more counter punching than him
