Who says he's that durable. Yep he took AJ shots but that doesn't mean he's the second coming of Rocky.
For example, Tua kod John Ruiz in one yet JR went on to go the distance with a load of other heavyweight. Still got blasted out by Tua.

If you’re comparing John Ruiz’s durability to Andy’s, ydksab.

I see some sloppy mid range withRuiz landing jabs and am style right hands and Tua catching a breather. Tua just wasn’t good at winning rounds and I don’t think he’d take Ruiz out.

Well how many times was John Ruiz kod actually, and who did it in one round in his prime?

He was a blown up cruiser who changed to a survival style after Tua. Haye still stopped him and I think Toney broke his nose.

Haye stopped him yes but that was literally his last fight. My point been is that John Ruiz for all his faults was no China chin. And we don't really know as much about Andy s chin really imo yet. I know he soaked up a lot of AJ s shots but give it time. He might get blown out in his next fight.

@NoNeck any change on how you see this hypothetical matchup going?

Still think Andy's chins hold up for 12 against a Prime Tua?

And yes it appears today that I am the President and Treasurer of the David Tua fan club.

Ruiz isn't the second coming Rocky? Well I am sure Ruiz is glad he isn't the second coming of Rocky. Unless you are talking about the movie character Rocky. Because Rocky Marciano would get stopped by every single heavyweight a live today since Rocky Marciano was a 180 pound fighter.

You call John Ruiz a blown up cruiser weight but you probably still think blown up 180 pound Rocky Marciano could beat modern heavy weights right?

If Ruiz struggled with a shot Arreola, it's hard to pick him against a prime Tua.

Andy Ruiz was dropped by 40 year old has been Chris Arreola. A prime David Tua knocked Ruiz out in a few rounds top.
