Fury actually had more valid reasons for that though

 

1) Both teams and whatever roadside lawyers they used are frickin idiots for not having a major detail like this stipulated in the contract.
2) Saunders might be trying to tweak Canelo's nose to **** him off. It might suit him to have Canelo angry and upset and willing to rush in
3) The whole debacle of the missing English judge may have been the seed that sparked this. Maybe Saunders feels like he's being set up and wants an advantage of his own
4) Saunders to me is the most credible opponent Canelo has lined up in a while. No weight clauses or short camp BS either. It will really suck if they dredge Amir Khan or the janitor up as a replacement.
5) Is Canelo ever going to fight GGG again before the Khazak mummifies from old age?

 

He is not going to be financially fine for long if he backs out of a contractually agreed upon fight with Canelo. The damages he would face likely exceed his career earnings.

if he doesnt, will anyone think bjs would have won because of it? will canelos stock drop with anyone that matters because of it? or, this could be looked at the same way this type of situation is always looked at, go in and beat this guy and then you can make the rules. is bily so lacking, that he couldnt possibly handle what pretty much every challenge to the crown has had to handle before.

 

Not sure how true this is, but the new rumor on Twitter at the moment is that Saunders and his team will be flying back to the UK within the next few hours. Supposedly they are saying the fight is off no matter what, even if Team Canelo agrees to the bigger ring.
