George and Joe Louis always said the whackiest stuff about any fights they discussed.

I much preferred RJJ, he would break down some advanced stuff sometimes though he was quiet overall.

Larry yes George not so much.

    As far as quotes

Larry:''Fernando Vargas may have had a 6-pack on his stomach...he did not have a 6-pack in his chin''

George:''We should eat whatever grows where Micky Ward is from.Whatever grows there go eat it''.

Paulie is the best announcer the game has ever seen. Dumbass lost a sweet gig that he could have fun doing and make good money until he's 70 because he has a stupid mouth outside of the ring.

He's probably slinging pizza or working the front desk of a nail/tanning salon now.

I preferred Steward and Kellerman and also Jones and Kellerman, because Merchant was just too negative for me. He didn't know enough about the sport and didn't appreciate any fights that weren't wars. And Big George just wasn't very good. He had a script he stuck to any fight no matter what. Best example that comes to mind is when he talked about Hopkins starting to fade against Trinidad. Lol.....

Barry Tompkins, Al Berstein & Gill Clancy were very good commentators. Ferdie Pacheco was underrated aswell.

Jim, Larry, Stewart was the ultimate A-Team.

Kellerman/RJJ/Atlas are close 2nd due to their passion. Paulie wasn't bad but he had an annoying voice. UK Sky commentators are good too, they make the fight exciting, they're my 2nd fav.

Bernstein is boring to me but he's good so 3rd.

    Brian Kenny, Tessitore 4th.

That weird guy from PBC (huge head Mexican looking guy), whoever top rank brings are bad...

Then, fkin drunk Oscar and Snoop lmao

Larry's best ever was " If I was 60 years younger I'd kick your ass myself " to Floyd when he was having a hissy fit

Larry merchant was a racist through and through. He was so transparent. Look how he handled the post fight interviews with guys like Floyd , Lewis etc.

He was a senile old fool with incredible bitterness to boot

You absolutely nailed it. The Jim, Larry, and Manny HBO broadcast team is the GOAT broadcast team on any network for any sport.
