I am quite convinced that in the current era Tommy Morrison would be in the top 5, what is your opinion?

All top HWs of the 90s would be in the top five of this era.

    He wasn't any good.
He wasn't really a top heavyweight in his own era.
This subject seems to come up every week here.

He would likely be in the top 5, and hold belts periodically.

He would be the most exciting and enjoyable to watch of the current crop of heavyweights. Much like he was in his era.

He would be flirting with the top 10 just like he did in the 1990's.

In this era Top 5 comfortably. Fury, AJ, Wilder ... maybe Usyk are your current top fighters at HW. Who else is there that would be favoured over Morrison? Parker? Ruiz? I hesitate to pick them over him.

Tommy Morrison would beat Joshua 10 times easier than dough boy Andy Ruiz did. Wilder would fall early unless he got a lucky punch in. Tyson Fury's running wouldn't matter because he would be caught eventually. Morrison would be champ in this era and would probably remain so for a long time ( As long as he wasn't partying like a fool like he did in the 90's)

He would be a top five Bridgerweight, I agree.

If Charles Martin and Joseph Parker can win versions of the world title I'm sure Morrison could do the same but he'd also get iced badly at least once - Wilder, AJ and Andy Ruiz are all more than capable of laying him out like Ray Mercer and Michael Bentt did

Same as he was then. An exciting fringe contender but one who never cracks the elite.

He'd probably beat Chisora, Whyte, Parker, Rivas and Ortiz. I'd favor him against the grandfather Povetkin that fought Whyte both times as well. He'd easily crack top 10 and possibly even top 5 although i wouldn't bet on it. But he'll never reach elite level like Fury and Aj have

Parker had to beat Ruiz to become WBO champion though.
I'd also expect Parker to beat Morrison.

Morrison could have defeated Martin or Glazkov (the forgotten guy Martin had to beat to become IBF champion).

Morrison's best win was against an old 44 year old Foreman, on points.
He never beat anyone else notable, just a few has-beens.
