Aside from their physical attributes obviously.

    I mean more their personalities.

I mean they are basically the same guy in that regard or they wouldn’t be best mates.

but what makes Tyson Fury so charismatic & Billy Joe so uncharismatic?

when I watch Tyson fury carry on acting a fool I can’t help but smile I’m a fan.

when Billy Joe does it it feels cringe worthy.

i know a lot of people here feel the same
    I can’t place it.

    is it their smiles?
Is it because Tyson Fury is fat?
Maybe it is physical after all idk.

They are both undefeated Gypsy Jack A$$e$ yet one is clearly more beloved then the other.

    Why is that?

Fury is more convincing and deep when he speaks, Fury used to behave like Saunders during his depression but turned all that around, I`ve read Fury`s auto bio and he`s a very logical guy, Saunders is just a moron, Fury points out that there`s Tyson Fury and then tyhre`s the gypsy king, his alter ego, he says in his book underneath the brash he`s just a normal sensitive guy, `ve heard the same said about Ali, that behind the scenes he was really quiet, Ray Leonard also said he had an alter ego, as does Wildder, another fighter is Mike Tyson who developed his mean behaviour to scare opponents, but was really shy as a kid and gotr bullied at school.

Fury? I know some lads who had something to deal with him, they told that he was nice.
    Not much I can tell.
For me Fury looked normal btw.

Fury seems more at peace with himself and more relaxed outside the ring...

I guess in the old "would it be fun to have a pint with him?" metric, Fury seems like he'd be a laugh whereas BJS comes across as someone who could snap at any moment, the kind of guy you just wouldn't want to be near when it happens, if that makes sense.

Having grown up alongside some traveller lads, you do very much get guys who are pretty chilled for the most part and you get guys who are touchy and fight at the first teeny little bit of provocation - obviously you can banter with the former but not as much with the latter.

    that actually makes perfect sense.
& I do know exactly what you mean with the whole pint sharing thing.

    Great way to put it.

They're both from Gypsy stock and good friends.

That's were the simalarties end as they are two different people with two different personalities.

Why would or should they be, or perceived to be the same or even similar?

Some will like one or both, some won't .

I think I perceive them as similar
because they both act out similarly in the lead up to fights.

lack of respect for opponents in the pressers Clowning & showboating during the fights themselves.

I’m American so I might not know their entire careers, but for the fights that I have seen their pre & post fight trolling on social media outlets & behavior patterns seem to be similar to me.

True. But That's been done and so often amongst fighters that it's almost universal standard practice.

Fury and Saunders are two different people. They may both sing a similar song, but it's two different voices.

Tyson is actually witty and funny, where as Billy Joe comes off as mean spirited and spiteful.

Fury is 100x more charming and charismatic.

Fury makes you want to support him.

    Billy Joe does the opposite.

Charming ? I don't know about that. Fury just doesn't seem like an ******* at heart, Saunders does. Fury doesn't care what the media and public think and say. Saunders seems like a wannabe Fury

Fury smiled snd laughs. he showed his mental vulnerability about depression and exhorts that anybody can do it.

    bjs seems more self absorbed.

    nobody likes bjs

Lol Fury was in the same place as BJS in 2015, the difference is he has beaten Klitshko and Wilder and has proven that he can indeed walk the talk. People will start taking BJS more seriously once he record matches his mouth
