What's the problem with that? That's what people think could happen. Theoretically, anything at all could happen, so it is stating the obvious unless you put your hand forward and say that this is what will happen. However, I've not seen anyone state that Saunders will outbox, knockout, win or get robbed. People are giving him a chance, and you seem to be at odds with that. I'm more at odds with people saying that he definitively has no chance. I can't figure that one out.

Not at all. It’s quite common in boxing to predict a “win” for a boxer yet predict he won’t get the nod on the cards. I did just that with Fury v Wlad. You are the one making out that Saunders has no chance so if he ends up taking a good few rounds your prediction will be badly wrong. The ones arguing against you here are merely pointing out that they feel Saunders style could give Canelo trouble. I think Saunders can go the distance and has the ability to box Canelo in stages. I think he CAN win it. That’s all. If it doesn’t happen it’s not a big deal because I’m not betting on it. As a boxing fan I’d rather see a thrilling fight with multiple KDs than Saunders win a complete stinker anyway. I don’t think many here are THAT invested in this fight.
People writing bjs off too quickly. Big Tom Saunders has really rattled canelo threw him off his game. And like him and tyson said there's a lot of gypsy magic in the air this week
In the poll I've gone for canelo late stoppage and think that's the most likely outcome. I remember young English had Billy looking a bit ragged towards the end of there fight and can just see canelo stepping it up later on and stopping him. BUT couldn't help but think about fury going out to dussledorf, literally no one gave him any chance against klitschko, and only nagging doubt on my prediction is what if Saunders really only does show his best for that elite level?? We'll soon see
I get your point but some of us were calling for that bout well before it happened, expecting Fury to be able to pull it off. Most people, however, had their heads up their arses.

I'll be honest, I'm a little bit confused by that, I only said styles make fights end of and to enjoy the fight, I never mentioned anything about betting money on it. I'm just approaching this with an open mind with what the outcome could be given the very different styles of the unbeaten and once beaten fighters going head to head in a World Title fight. I've noticed that you're very active in this thread and quite full on with it, don't take this the wrong way but I hope you're doing alright, lockdown and being stuck in and away from people can get a bit much.
