Depends how you look at either fighters really, I would say it was an upset but not a monumental one, I expect Canelo to win an easy UD, but Saunders has never really been pushed to a limit imo so he's kind of an unknown for how high his ceiling is
Lets put it this way, Saunders aint knocking out the Ginger bread boy, and the judges certainly aint giving him rounds. There is a greater chance of me becoming mod than there is of Canelo losing.
1) Tokio Douglas v Tyson 2) Foreman v Moorer 3) Rahman v Lewis 4) Ruiz v AJ 5) L. Spinks v Ali 6) M. Spinks v Holmes 7) Ali v Foreman 8) Saunders v Canelo
In a vacuum, I think he's probably capable of outpointing him, so in some senses it wouldn't be a shock. But when you apply the full context, I think it would be a massive upset. As pointed out above, I find it hard to believe he can stop Canelo and he'd need to put on a Mayweather-esque clinic to maybe scrape a SD, so it seems highly unlikely. I should also point out that I think Canelo will win by stoppage.
It would be a Mayorga v Vernon Forrest type of upset. Mayorga is as despicable as BJS. Best win by a British fighter overseas I reckon. I really would be shocked as I don't give BJS a hope in hell of winning on the scorecards. I just don't think he's capable, for all his abilities, he has struggled to put it together against people like Akavov and Corceres, I don't see how he is going to box out of his skin today to beat this version of Canelo.
LMAOOOO BJS is only a 5/1 dog... Are ppl trolling in here? It'd be upset of the year so far but nowhere close to some of these
The fight is comically mispriced. If you're a gambler who isn't betting on Canelo at 1/4 you need to have your head examined.
