    Well, Saunders was cruising to a lopsided points loss anyway. From the corrupt Texas judges. It saved his eye from even more punishment.

    Judges had it 6-2, 6-2 and 5-3 all for Canelo at the time of stoppage. Saunders was never getting the decision

    Plant is an easier fight than Saunders...there is nothing he has that can trouble Canelo.

    I think BJS had a pretty bad injury that eye basically collapsed so it must be a serious injury.

    That being said pretty sad to come out to Churchill and quit on your stool.

    I am well aware mate but it was a close fight and it's not like BJS was sparked out cold. He took damage from a punch. My original comment was just to express that I thought it likely they could sell a rematch considering how close it was and how it ended. It wasn't me expressing a desire to see a rematch or implying that BJS deserves a rematch.
