Well, Saunders was cruising to a lopsided points loss anyway. From the corrupt Texas judges. It saved his eye from even more punishment.

Judges had it 6-2, 6-2 and 5-3 all for Canelo at the time of stoppage. Saunders was never getting the decision

Plant is an easier fight than Saunders...there is nothing he has that can trouble Canelo.

I think BJS had a pretty bad injury that eye basically collapsed so it must be a serious injury.

That being said pretty sad to come out to Churchill and quit on your stool.

Oscar is gone, he sees his opportunity to pounce on that stardom. True promoter.

I am well aware mate but it was a close fight and it's not like BJS was sparked out cold. He took damage from a punch. My original comment was just to express that I thought it likely they could sell a rematch considering how close it was and how it ended. It wasn't me expressing a desire to see a rematch or implying that BJS deserves a rematch.

Gypsy fighting men willing to die in the ring.

BJS was like a sweat pee in that ring.

Until he got hit in the body in the first rd1
