A lucky punch doesnt exist... Canelo broke him down, outlanded him with power shots too.

Chris Eubank Jr is on social media calling Saunders out. The same Chris Eubank Jr who bottled out of fighting Golovkin, wouldn't go anywhere Canelo, and is treading water career-wise.

Let's be honest, they could have revealed the judges scorecards before the first bell. That being said, Canelo did the business tonight in what was a competitive bout.

Saunders until that uppercut was shrugging off the body shots...Saunders is alot stronger than I thought. I will have to say that uppercut was a double power shot with Canelo throwing with all he had and BJS ducking into it. The instant visible damage has broken eye socket and eye damage written all over it.

    Final score 5 - 2 - 1.

    5 for Canelo
    2 for Saunders
1 even (the 7th, not much landed)

Not for me. 5 and 7 were the only clear Saunders rounds, I thought. 1 and 6 were close and they always go to the a-side. 1 was a nothing round and then 6 was BJS starting well but Canelo finishing it well. I think 78-74 is perfectly within reason. It's the score I had in my head.

I'll reserve my response until I hear how hurt the man is. You are right. BJS was doing well and looked to have momentum.

Just saw the replay of the uppercut that caused the damage - that was a big shot, and aside from all the machismo and braggadoccio, I don't think anyone wants to see another Michael Watson, or worse. Canelo said he thought it was a broken orbital, and if it is I wouldn't call that a quit, especially as it was Tibbs that effectively threw in the towel.

Still, being a Gypsy he's going to take some stick if it's not a serious injury.

Someone that can snap Clenelo juiced head back. I'd say Benavidez. Plant got no pop at all he is like BJS. No power.

    What a strange reaction.

I'm on a thread discussing boxing. I thought BJS was the toughest style matchup out there for Canelo, Canelo has just beaten him by tko.

Instead of getting emotional that I lost my bet and the underdog didn't win, I instead gave credit to the victor.

I don't understand your reaction at all.
