ah ok. Maybe because it wasn't visually apparent at the time that Brook had trouble with his eye. It only came to light after the in ring interviews when Brook said he was seeing three or four of GGG in the ring.

You can see here immediately that Saunders eye was serious ****ed.

It’s was also a bit of a lazy lead hook from Billy and ducking down so many times he was bound to get caught once. Unfortunate it did so much damage though. Sure look at least it saved us from thinking it was a close fight at the end.

It’s not hating on him it’s just factual. You can’t make a legitimate case for Saunders winning more than 3 rounds at most. Round 5 he looked very good. But once again his engine let him down, he can’t keep it up for 6 minutes let alone 36. We seen that against Martin Murray, Coerces, Eubank and others.

Tell me what’s unfactual about that?

I had canelo 1 up. I thought billy boxed well in spurts but he also made mistkes that u usually see orthadox fighters make who dont understand southpaw positions and lines. Quite suprised he pulled out in the way he did but if his socket is broken he did the right thing, as carrying on in them circumstances and u can make the injury career threatening. Think canelo was reay to start putting the foot down too

I had BJS clearly ahead going into 8th. BJE was countering beautifully, out landing Canelo, uses the jab effectively and landing the looping left regularly. In the 8th round canelo landed a great uppercut that hurt BJS, eye was clearly damaged and I wouldn't be surprised if BJS has broken orbital bone.

Judges are disgrace and they would of robbed BJS just liked they did with GGG twice and Lara.

I had it 4-3 Canelo and pretty much see this is as the equivalent of a one punch KO. Nothing lucky about it. Saunders was even flinching from Canelo’s feints after that uppercut and you knew he was done.

The noise and buzz when Canelo was hyping the crowd up after breaking Saunders face was a great moment.

    I think billy retires.

No where for him to go

Only fight would be the rematch but canelo isn't going to risk that, he knows he got lucky tonight.

Maybe billy could drop back to 160 as i feel thats his best weight. He was decent tonight but hes even slicker at 160.

He felt pain and his heart went, he's not a man who can take it when the chips are down against him. I don't know if it's a heart issue or a mentality issue but he lost the dog in him the second he felt the power.

That eye blackened instantly. Right away i knew he wasn't coming out for the next round. I have a feeling this is a very, very bad injury.

    Out landing him?

Canelo outlanded him. 5th was brilliant for Saunders. 6th Saunders landed 2 more but Canelo’s much better shots. Saunders again decent in the 7th. But overall Canelo was out landing him comfortably. More power shots landed than Saunders jab.

This. It's pretty much a one punch knockout. Sussed him out, landed it, game over.

I had him winning 3 rounds same as most people. He was in the fight, he did well and had success against the p4p no1, it was 5-3.. so I think he deserves a bit more credit than you've showed. I didn't see an engine problem tonight, he just got caught with a shot on the eye orbital bone.
