Considering the abominable scorecards we just saw in the Cissokho-Conway fight, everyone who bets should be putting money down on Canelo (current best odds 1/4). If the judges scores can be that far off on a nothing fight, we're going to see something even worse with the sport's No.1 cash cow in Texas on Cinco de Mayo. BJS could win all 12 rounds and he'll still lose a split decision.
I gave Saunders a good 3 rounds. Obviously Texas judges are corrupt but in this situation it did not matter
I had Canelo stopping BJS but those scorecards were clear evidence that you'd have to KO Clen to get a Disqualification against him
I thought the judges were right. Canelo was hurting BJS in each round and had ring generalship for all but a few moments.
I had BJS winning 1, 4, 5, 6 and 7. 4-4 would have been acceptable, 5-3 Canelo is stingy but 6-2 is quite disgusting. It was clear going in that anyone betting on BJS was flushing their money down the toilet. I'm not going to complain at the manner of defeat though, I made bank on the fight.
