I think he could beat Beterbiev, but Bivol would smash him. Really really bad.

    Canelo is not Usyk and they fight nothing alike, that’s one of the worst comparisons I’ve ever heard.

    And;

    “Canelo can beat any amateur” that’s some statement, have you got actual evidence to prove this?

    Problem is, that getting close to Beterbiev plays EXACTLY into his strengths, which is heavy-handed short thudding blows, Beterbiev has this knack of being able to generate tremendous power with very little movement.

    Ironically, as Canelo has his opponents wary of counters due to his sharp power, I think once he has ate a few body shots from Beterbiev he would be very wary of closing the distance - and he can't keep it at range either, which leaves him in somewhat of a conundrum IMO.

    I can see Canelo gassing badly around 7th/8th round due to body work by AB, and would do well to make it to final bell in my view.

    Bivol vs Canelo on the other hand would play out very differently, and think Canelo's problem in that one is getting in close, Bivol's judging of distance is great.

    Clenelo has a very sturdy chin and great head movement but I remember there was one instance where that shot drunk shell of Kovalev he cherrypicked before dropping that belt like it was molten lead to duck back down to a graveyard division just like I predicted he would actually decided to switch from pity pat mode and put a bit of oomph behind one of shots and you could see Clenelo really felt the weight of it and looked concerned and when I say he put a bit of oomph behind it I'm not talking like the Kovalev of old power aka The Krusher I mean he just put a little bit of venom into it one of his shot. Prime Kovalev would've left him in a quivering heap of that I am 100% confident and even Clen's doe-eyed fangirls know that deep down lol.

    Beterbiev lives like a monk, trains like a spartan, isn't a drunk with a six round gas tank, and he can throw bombs and apply relentless pressure from round 1 to round 12 with no noticeable let up or signs of fatigue, and generate savage power from punches that travel six inches. When he detonates his bombs on that ginger dome trust me Clenelo is going to think he's been cracked across the bonce with a very large log. Beterbiev and Bivol would've jumped at the chance to fight Clen but there's a reason he ducked back down to that graveyard division instead of trying to unify at 175.

    Btw, ever so predictably enough, after post inactivity/post covid Beterbiev looked poor in his last fight, Reynoso aka Mr. ''Don't stay at 175 Clen those boys are too big for you'' started mentioning Beterbiev's name, saying that they might move back up after Clen's unified at 168 and Beterbiev will be at the very least 37 and riper for the picking by the time he does so if he does so :risas3:

    You think Beterbiev is a shot Kov whose power and punch resistance had declined significantly?
    A MW BJS 2.o who has looked like garbage up at SMW even though he has been fighting binmen and shot senior citizens?
    A four week camp Callum Smith whose only claim to fame is beating a one armed George Groves who had no business being in a ring that night, and getting thoroughly beaten by John Ryder in a robbery of the year type decision?
    Rocky From Stocky who he even felt the need to slap a rehydration clause on? :lol:
    Anvi Yildirim who was sparked out in two rounds in his backyard by non-puncher CEJ?

    :risas3::risas3:

    Bivol didn't look very good in his last fight.

    Beterbiev is getting on now.

    My money would be on Canelo unifying another division tbh.

    Neither fight will happen anyway. This cash cow is here to be milked for a few more years.
