Good fight for sure. Excellent game plan from Canelo and his team. Those body shots really paid off.
Does Saunders need to fire his team after gassing so quick following all those body shots from Canelo?

Billie needs to take some responsibility for the loss and I am sure he will.

In 2 years prior to fighting Canelo he only fought 3 times, against an ancient shot Martin Murray and two complete unknowns in Coceres and Isufi...

Inactivity and not living the life outside of the ring is why he could execute the game plan for 12 rounds...

We all knew what the game plan was...and to be frank from the second round of the fight the warning signs were there. If he is getting walked down to the ring ropes that early on, it is clear his foot work isnt up to the job.

Canelo had absolutely nothing to fear going right at Saunders.

Tbh you could see it coming, he was doing the same all night, it was only a matter of time before Canelo timed him.

Had it landed on the chin he would have probably put his lights out.

Canelo gassed after the early rounds, what he needs to fear is putting so much into each shot, Saunders began to counter him well, that`s what he needed to fear, SAunders took rounds off Canelo, that`s what he needed to fear despite a good finish and Saunders battered eye.

This really need to be said louder. 160-175 divisions have all been inactive and facing lower level competition that doesn’t challenge them. Meanwhile Canelo has been active and outside of Yildrim he’s been facing the top level. These guys haven’t in been pushed to utilize that second gear and when finally getting in the ring with him, they lack the top level experience to reach that next gear.

That is true. Saunders did not have the power to keep Canelo off of him.

No Mark he should blame himself for not living the life of a professional fighter.

True. Canelo was going for that shot all night and it finally paid off.

Good game plan by Canelo's team as they must have seen BJS tendency to dip his body defensively from watching films.

Canelo was going for that shot all night.

Saunders made Canelo miss a lot in this fight. Until he didn't.
