It's about as solid a win as it ever would've been, more or less. Saunders hasn't done too much of note in a while, and I guess a case can be made that it would've been a slightly different matchup in their 160 days, but he wasn't over the hill — he showed up and did his thing pretty darn well until the eye got busted.
I'd say BJS is Canelo's best win. Considering I thought Canelo should of lost to Lara and and both GGG fights. Cotto and Mosley where spent. Trout was very overrated. Beating BJS (especially as I had BJS winning the fight going into the 8th) is more impressive than Canelo next impressive wins against Smith and Kovalev.
Khan couldn't beat pbf if he let him win the first 6 rounds the difference in skill is as vast as the milky way. log off hater.
I think we all knew that going in. Saunders would lose all to the top guys at 168 and probably 160. Plant isn't all that much better either, wish Benavidez had been disciplined and kept his belt.
Bash wins over legitimate world champs like smith and Saunders but praise wins over no name bums like dervanchenko and Szermeta lol fan are funny
Has BJS ever lost before Has he ever quit before? he has ever been stopped? has he ever been caught with such clean hard shots? maybe you should watch more boxing.
I'd have to agree that Floyd would find a way to win at least one more round so that he could take the fight. Khan is unlikely to knock Mayweather out so it would probably be a 7-5 kind of thing. Of course, it's just like you to give Floyd 6 rounds for free. I bet you have a Floyd statue on your bedroom.
For many here, Canelo is getting the K bro treatment. Whoever the K bros beat - even though some where well touted before - they were never really good Whenever the K bros lost - it was a catastrophe. Vitali never down. That's outstanding for any weigh class, as a HW it's unreal. Canelo is a great fighter - how great is undetermined since his career is not over.
Its the other way round, BJS is class but Canelo is unstoppable. To those slating bjs, can you name a fighter who you seriously think will dethrone canelo? You're talking about someone who is on the cusp of completely taking over the boxing space.
i agree. bjs has been stupidly overated for years. difference is, i was saying it throughout those years, not after i was proven wrong.
