Kelly Pavlik v Paul Williams: thoughts, predictions?

I see Pavlik stopping him in the 9th or 10th round. Williams will have his moments, but Pavlik will be ahead on points at the time of the stoppage. I think its a wreckless decision for Williams to jump two divisions and fight a guy who looks like he walks around at about 13st, and could easily fight at light-heavyweight. He would've been better hanging around at welterweight and trying to fight the winner of Cotto-Margarito, or building himself up to fight Pavlik a little more gradually, like having a fight at light-middle then one or two at middle before challenging Pavlik, but you've got to give it to Williams- he clearly has guts and belief.

yeah i agree, he must feel up for it and you have to respect him for doing that.

Does any Williams experts think he might be able to outbox Pavlik? and win on points?

    Genuine question

It is wreckless on Williams behalf. I agree he should take a fight at 154 first or at least a tune up at 160 to get used to the weight. Pavlik's gonna destroy this kid. Bad move....

    This fight wont last long.
Williams is about as coordinated as bambi on ice and will be severly beaten for his lack of vision

  Lets stop pretending man:nut
Williams really has nothing that poses a problem for Pavlik and Pavlik has about every advantage with the exception that Williams is a southpaw
As I've said Williams is not coordinated at all, he's either to close or too far away for his rather weak punches to be effective
Pavlik is about as active, with harder, straighter punches thrown with CONVICTION
Pavlik is better on the inside and outside for the main reason I mentioned above: coordination
No man this won't be close
How many flush right hands to the head and lefts to the body do you think Paul "Emaciated" Williams can take?:think

Williams lanky ass will be doing the Trevor Berbick soon, just hope he's in the middle of the ring when he gets Kod otherwise his lanky arms might break when they hit the ropes from flailing around like the ragdoll he is

Let's see how many people who dumped on Taylor about defending the belt against former WW champs in some of his defences will praise and drool all over Pavlik in this one.

What else is there for Pavlik? Rubio? Aside from this Williams called Pavlik out, also aside from Williams fighting several fights at MW(something Ouma and Spinks never did) It's more money and I think it's gauranteed to be more exciting than Taylor-Spinks or Taylor-Ouma:deal
