Yeah, goes without saying his technique is excellent. As with late-career Marquez, judicious S&C has allowed him to amplify the already considerable force generated from those foundations.

Canelo threw 206 punches in 8 rounds against Saunders.. On no planet would he ever SNIFF beating Floyd throwing 26 punches a round. This is NOT classic Mexican style. Mexicans come forward with no regard and throw punches in bunches.. Lots of combination punching. Canelo does not come CLOSE to doing that

Ever watch Finito Lopez, Salvador Sanchez, Julio Cesar Chavez Sr, Marco Antonio Barrera, Juan Manuel Marquez? The best Mexican fighters were offensive counter punchers. They picked their shots, broke their opponents down and protected themselves at all times.

Agreed. Marquez and Canelo got slaughtered by Floyd. All i'm saying is picking your shots against Floyd is a recipe to get 12-0'd 11-1'd. That's all.

Lol, maybe you meant to have an argument with someone else. My original post states the same thing about Canelo losing because he tried outboxing Floyd.

My only point was Canelo has developed into an offensive fighter that cuts off the ring and delivers body punches, which suits his capabilities much better.

These bigger guys too allow Canelo to load the **** up and get everything into his shots. It's fun seeing this little bulldozer pulverize them. A bit different than the naturally quicker, more agile guys at 154 and even 160.

he has adopted a style of shutting down opponents offenses through sheer intimidation. he studies your favorite attacks, then prepares his counters, and makes you sorry for trying to catch him and missing. this allows him to relax on the defense as part of his new style, because he wants you to take cracks at him, thats why he feints so much, he knows the fear will force a reaction. he wants you to understand whats going to happen when you take a bad or lazy shot at him. it makes fighters reluctant to let their hands go unless they have a safe opening.

Canelo has avg 39 punches over his last 15 fights.. And that's including GGG walking to him and forcing him to throw 600+ punches per fight. If Canelo is offensive minded.. Floyd at 147 and above was offensive minded and nobody is willing to go that far. Which is my point.

If he'd stopped Saunders with accumulation TKO, it would have been one thing.
He just caved a sturdy MW's face with one uppercut. Looks like it's a far worse fracture than Golovkin caused on Brook with a full swinging hook.
This story is becoming so unbelievable now, almost surreal.
Imagine the kind of corrupt or lemming mind it takes to believe it.

He's got a good gig going there with Mexico...unlimited access to anything he wants (over the counter), train for 3 months while on and cycle off for the following 4 weeks.

If you want that stuff from NZ you need to go to Thailand and then wait 2 weeks to fly home, otherwise, the fluid in your limbs becomes unbearable :eusa_doh:time to move to mehhhhicooooo.
