If Amir had a granite chin to go along with his other attributes, how would he have done?

    Chin wasn't his only flaw.

He would still need a brain, a defense, and infighting ability.

That wouldn't be a bad fight to make at this point in his career. Would probably do good numbers in the U.K.

I think he should fight Prescott and Brook and call it a day.

While the saying in boxing goes “speed kills” or “speed is deadly” the truth is a granite chin would have helped Khan get to a higher level and stay there longer but wouldn’t have made him a better fighter, just a tougher one. He would have still lost at the elite level.

Khan couldn’t fight going backwards, his insistence on a high guard defense wasn’t always correct; he couldn’t slip and punch in counter and he had a tendency to run rather than move laterally... etc etc.

As far as my aunty if she had balls lol, but lets just play fairy tales for a moment, he would prob have a slightly different style less reliant on speed and movement as he would be more comfortable in taking shots which would prob get him knocked out a few times anyway.

A little more punching power and better defence would help him more than a better chin.

I don't think Khan's chin was the problem, I think it's more of a tunnel vision problem and not seeing punches coming from odd angles. You look at the shots that dropped him he had no idea where these shots were coming from.

This is a flaw to Khan's style, he's not slick enough to see certain punches coming or know how to roll with punches, he has a very herky jerky movement. High level operators were able to time him and land devastating shots that would have knocked anyone out. Khan's punch resistance is questionable but he was never packing China like Saunders.
