 Yeah people think The Phantom would be easy for Clenelo but stylistically he's all wrong for him and if they fought in Germany he would stand no chance of getting the decision even if he could figure out The Phantom puzzle which would be absolutely delicious irony for the likes of Clen lol

Benn`s KO ratio wasn`t very good at 168.

Canelo is far harder to hit than G-man was and his body punches are very good.

I feel Calzaghe would have had the best chance of beating Canelo.

What was it? I can still remember him scoring some significant KOs at that weight, most notably Gerald McClellan.

Indeed I would submit that the aforementioned knockout surpasses any stoppage Canelo has recorded at 168 by a country mile.

I meant it more as even if he gets dropped.
Canelo might well land a nice counter early and he can knock Calzaghe down. But he won’t keep him down.
Froch got hit a lot more than Calzaghe. So while he went down a few times he ate a lot more shots.
I didn’t pick Froch to win although he could....but it would not be anywhere near certain
Calzaghe would not lose to Canelo

Canelo vs toney would be interesting. It also could be a boring fight but I can see canelo pulling a win. Both chins are iron as well.

Benn wouldnt beat Canelo, skill level is too wide, Canelo also has a far far better chin

You think Canelo knocks out Roy Jones and Nigel Benn, but could only beat Froch on points?

Does that mean you think prime Froch beats prime Jones?

I know styles make fights and what not, but that is kind of the inference.

I think Prime Jones would land too much on Froch, I think Canelo is incredibly skilful at parrying punches and it would cause RJJ some real problems and with the power demonstrated would catch him. Styles make fights as you have said.
