man y’all are some straight up clowns it’s funny man this the same thing they was saying about Mayweather which is why nobody is fighting anybody because dummies like you believe it...
Can someone explain to me how do you jump up in weight and constantly cherry pick the #1 rated fighter and #1 rated champion?

boxing fans are really dumb af at times and will legit praise fighters who duck good comp like Andrade or Golovkin but bash guys actually fighting champions like Canelo...
But I guess that’s why Canelo is an ATG and these other guys not they said Floyd and Manny was cherry picking too and ended up picking they way to fighter of the decade for both and top 20 ATG status... more fighters should cherry pick like Canelo

Canelo resumes 175. Kovalev top 2 Champ and the most decorated and experienced champ at the weight
168 top 10 fighter in fielding then #1 in Smith and top 3/4 in Saunders
    160 #1 Cotto, #1 GGG twice and #3 Jacobs
    154 #1 Trout, #1 Lara, #1 Floyd, top 5 Smith
These are just title fights by my count you got
7 number 1 rated fighters a number 2 rated fighter 2 guys only rated behind Canelo,
And then 2 perennial top 5-10guys..
Name anyone between 147-75 doing more or whose fought more champions?

OP has a point. No one is fighting the best within their division.

No matter what people think of these guys, they always tried to take on the best of their weight class, no matter the outcome:

Bute, Froch, Ward, Degale, Badou Jack, Pascal, Kovalev, Hopkins, Dawson, etc

I don't see these guys doing it now. Hell some of them are pretty much irrelevant now. Look at Gilberto Ramirez.
