Dubois joins McGuigan

Yes, I believe it was claimed (only claimed never proven) that when Filip Hrgovic came to the UK to spar a few fighters Dubois got beaten up by him and quit the sparring session early.

That claim has never really been backed up though as far as I know, in fact I don't think I remember anyone else who said that other than Tom Little?

I always take sparring stories with a pinch of salt as there are so many of them, there's usually no way to prove or disprove and ultimately it doesn't make a great deal of difference.

There have been many claims of fighters knocking AJ out in sparring (including Dubois himself, and Okolie who he now manages!) certainly hasn't done AJ's career any harm...

 

Just checked interview it was Martin Bakole

 

First I have heard of that. Anything's possible, wouldn't mean much even if true.

 

Tibbs is a brilliant coach but Shane may be a better fit tbh

When questioned about it him and Billy didnt deny it, but did condem Little for making such things public and rightly so

 

Tibbs seems to be putting a lot of energy into Johnny Fisher.

 

Little 100% also said Hrgovic gave Dubois a hiding - this was in lead up to his fight with DDD.

 

Have you trained with him or are you basing this on Dillian's conditioning or Johnny Fishers silky skills?

 

Im basing this on watching him train boxers in gyms
