From the ground up? Have any of these had a World champ that wasn't with someone else before?

Has Ben Davison trained anyone decent that hadn't already won a World title before they met?

    Yes, all of them.

Mark was an understudy for his dad who developed multiple champions.

The rest have had amateurs who turned over with them, who later became world champions with them in the corner.

At this stage Ben Davison seems like he's serving his apprenticeship and is a very good number 2.

That might all change Saturday if Josh Taylor wins in style.

Davison is a rat, cannot be trusted. His ego is out of control right now. IFL have done this to him, made him out to be a superstar in the industry and he’s been loving the attention of interview after interview, sticking his nose into all manner of things that don’t concern him.

Absolutely, he will end up upsetting so many people in boxing he won't have a career.

Like I said, if he was that good he would be still training Fury and BJS, the fact he has his hands on Taylor is amazing, but I've heard he takes a lot less money than other trainers.

He doesn’t care about the money, it’s the attention he craves, the man lives for it. He’s Bellew-esque in his love of the camera.

The BT footage of him at Fury Wilder I when he was praying was so forced and for the camera it was hilarious in its obviousness, he’d definitely never put his hands together to pray before in his life

Is he married? I feel he is almost in love with Fury the way he acts.

    Hahahaha

He is Embarrassing, you're spot on, he is all the attention. Also I really hope Kugan has the nuts to go and speak to Tibbs, got a feeling he won't though.

As for Benny, I don't think he is married, he never mentions it :gayfight:

The below is a great example of how a corner functions in the heat of the moment.

Of the three, only one of them remained calm and did not panic and that's why Freddie Roach is one of the greats. He's done his 10,000 iterations and because he's seen it all, nothing phases him and calmness is sometimes all elite-level athletes need in the middle of the storm.

I get what you’re saying but Roach’s condition could have played a factor in that too. I remember Roach barely saying a word to Khan between the rounds in the Garcia fight which was hardly great coaching. Khan was probably finished on the first KD but he desperately needed a voice in his ear at least.

    That's a fair point.

This though was the same Amir Khan that had been knocked out in 51 seconds by Prescott, who against Garcia was attempting to regain a version of a world title, two of which he had previously held under Freddie Roach's guidance.

You said from the ground up. Is amateur boxing underground?
Who turned over with Shane McGuigan that became a world champ?

The same could be said of others off the "great trainers" list.

I'm crediting you with having more fingers than brain cells though.

    Have a nice day.
