You're the one making claims about developing world champions from ground up. Why don't you educate me on who McGuigan and Mark Tibbs have brought through.

For a reasonable hourly rate It would be my pleasure to educate you.

Outside of a forthcoming payment please DYOR, a good starting point would be Jimmy Tibbs's autobiography along with Josh Taylor's and Carl Frampton's Wikipedia pages.

    Jimmy Tibbs?
You told me that MARK Tibbs had developed World champions from ground up. Who is the best he brought through? Buglioni?
Fair play to Shane with Taylor but Frampton turned over with Gerry Storey.

Thanks pal - don't know how I forgot him.;)
I'm still struggling with who Mark Tibbs brought through from "ground up" to World Champ.

    Jesus Christ,

" Talking of Billy Joe Saunders, we started working together after he came back from the 2008 Olympics. He was a very talented amateur boxer, winning about 50 senior fights nonstop, and my first impressions of him were that he could achieve anything. "

The above is a direct quote from Jimmy Tibbs book.

The below is taken from an interview from with Jimmy Tibbs that was printed in the Independent in 2015

" In 2008 Mark Tibbs, a former professional, started working alongside his dad in the gym, making it formal the same week a man called Dean Powell delivered the teenage Saunders to Tibbs Sr. It was a good fit from the start, young Billy learning from the Tibbs double act. "

The below is the Andy Lee v Billy Joe Saunders fight.

Kugan wasn't fast enough Or maybe he didn't even try?

Either way, Tibbs is having his say without being censored, fair play to Boxing Social to get down his gym and get the interview.

Let's see what's said, I'm watching it now.

Thanks for the video. Jimmy Tibbs is in the corner giving the advice. His son is hogging the camera before and then passing the water bottle and putting a cloth on Billy's head.
Who is the best fighter that MARK Tibbs has brought through?

Well, I'm a professional window licker. I get on buses during the day and lick and then dribble all over the windows, apparently im cheaper than a professional window cleaner.

Sadiq Khan has spent Londons budget for the next 10 years already on rainbow flags and pronouns, so I'm saving them millions.

Interesting fact, I'm also credited with spreading covid around London through my window licking/dribbling exploits, some even call me "patient zero".

My level of education is potato, I was unlucky not to get a carrot, going back to college next year, evening classes, studying for spinach.

yeah I know, a little ambitious but shoot for the moon and if you miss you still end up amongst the stars... or maybe fall in to a black hole, either way at least you had a go.

Everyone sticking to their side of the story. I think Mark contradicts himself a few times though. Needed that minute between rounds but Ben jumped in , but then says he had already made the decision by the time Ben jumped in , didn't need the 60 seconds if he had already been made !

Yeah that's a fair comment, I thought there were times he also stopped himself.. so he wasn't completely open and honest.

You don't have to be too smart to see that you are ducking the question.
Mark Tibbs has been the head trainer for the last 2 BJS fights. In the last one BJS was that confident of his corner that he asked Ben Davison to help.
Who is the best fighter that Mark Tibbs has brought through from "ground up"?

Mark Tibbs played an integral role in Billy Joe Saunders's development from 2008-2015 hence why Saunders hired him for his last two fights.

If you knew what you were talking about not only would know this fact in advance of your original reply to me some 12 hours ago, you would also how a gym and training camp functions along with the additional fact that Jimmy Tibbs was born in 1946 and would have been unable physically to train Billy Joe on a day-to-day basis.

In 2015 Jimmy was 69 years old and from 2008-2015 Mark's responsibility and input grew whilst Jimmy's became primarily about strategy.

This is a fact that has been well documented only your too lazy to do your research so instead, you prefer to clutching at straws like a drowning man.

Saunders left Jimmy Tibbs after the Andy Lee fight. There's plenty of articles about the split. Non mention Mark.
Here is an article about Saunders training a year before the split
    https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2014/nov/27/jimmy-tibbs-trainer-billy-joe-saunders-chris-eubank-jr
    Again, no mention.
5 years later Saunders needed someone to come over and train him in the Canaries and Mark jumped at the chance to be the trainer in a world title fight. A few months later and Saunders has hit the jackpot so Mark flies over to the Canaries again. BJS feels he needs Davison in the corner.
Mark Tibbs was the head trainer for 2 BJS fights. The same number as Davison and half the amount of Ingle.
Who is the best fighter that MARK Tibbs has brought through? Johnny Fisher?
