Canelo is 30 years old. You have to give time to properly value a career. Too easy to live in or live out of the moment. Much of Marquezs legacy was improved after that age.

I think he belongs amongst these names but it's a tragedy that there are no Pacquiaos and Morales' around for him to fight.

The talent is fine it's just that they're all sitting by the phone waiting for Canelo to call.

    Morales
    MAB
    JMM
    Canelo

    - Morales beat Pac and MAB.
    - MAB beat Morales, Hamed and arguably beat JMM way past his prime.
    - JMM beat Pac but struggled in a toss-up fight vs MAB so I actually rate the other 2 higher.

Canelo has a draw and win over GGG which is great but not quite as great as the other 3’s achievement.

I’ll say this though, p4p, he seems a better fighter than the other 3 ability wise.

I'm too gutted to rank them in any meaningful way. I like MAB, Morales, and Marquez the most. They produced great fights and were in weight classes in a time period that produced a lot of quality champions fighting each other over multiple weights. It was truly something special to watch.

It's really hard to compare guys from the lower weight classes with the upper weight classes. I want to say guys from 147 and below tend to be better than guys 154 and up. I find the higher up in weight the more lethargic and unskilled the boxers become. They rely more on heavier punching ability.

Canelo is a guy who has been able to take several of his skills from 154 up to 175. He is also the only multi-weight champion in his weight class. You don't have other great champions in his weight classes to compare him to like the lower weight champions. They had each other to compare to. Canelo stands head and shoulders over his current comp. Canelo's accomplishments vs the Fab 4 would make more sense to compare. Canelo is very special for his weight class and this time period of boxing.

Dont know if I agree. Barrera was the least athletic, but the best technician among the 4 fighters.

Morales and Barrera are both overrated. Didn't do **** but beat each other up.

    1.CANELO
    2.JMM

Barrera/Morales are equal fighters, slightly favoring Morales cause he did beat Pacquiao

    Asuming they are all retired:

    01 - Canelo
    02 - JMM
    03 - Morales
    04 - Barrera

That is my answer to both.
