Usyk has excellent footwork but the Chisora fight showed that he can be outmuscled in the clinch by big heavies. Joshua should not play long-distance with Usyk and focus on cutting the ring off. I see Usyk beating every heavyweight besides Fury and AJ and maaaaaybe Whyte (IMO its a 50/50 fight). Wilder would also have a shot because of his freak power. Usyk vs AJ is a close fight with a chance of an upset but I just think AJ is too good and big for Usyk. Theirs that old adage a good big man always beats a great little man.

I hope this fight happen before Wilder vs Fury.

Don't underastimate Usyk's stamina and chin. He can take punches.

Prime Klitschko could not keep up with him in sparring.

I don't think they'll take the Usyk fight.. It's too much of a risk.. I think AJ would probably wear him down, and catch him, but Usyk has every chance of schooling him and even tkoing him down the stretch as he switches up the gears.

I've always felt Usyk is all wrong for Joshua
Despite being small for heavyweight, he has exceptional skills, speed, boxing IQ, footwork. He He's superior to Joshua in most departments. He also has great stamina and a solid chin, two areas Joshua isn't so great at.

I think Usyk KOs/stops him late. Joshua has gassed in his toughest tests, I could see it being similar to Usyk - Bellew.

Or Usyk beats him on points , in which case he'll probably get robbed

Why do I get the feeling Fury and AJ were negotiating these fights all along?

I like Joshua by stoppage. Usyk is a tough style matchup if he's at his peak, but he isn't. He's now old, bloated and inactive. Someone with his style doesn't age well at HW.

Usyk is just another Adamek at heavyweight. No power whatsoever. Joshua will walk him down and stop him late!

For Bellew and Huck and Mchunu looks that he had enough power.
Bellew looks that had enough " power " to beat Makabu and get 2-0 pro record at HW division.
Huck if in good shape looks that was enough tough for 32 y.o then undefeated Povetkin.
Okey, now most likely old, however accusations as lack of power in CW division are a bit joke.
No one had finished 3 from these boxers he was not able to finish at CW and 4 th had been finished by Briedis and being ring rusty by this Okolie.
Usyk's stoppage ratio at CW was 75 % and he had fought in these 16 fights 3 boxers who are not finished in distance till today.
HW? 50%, looks that Witherspoon was 242 lbs and 38, this also yeah replacement boxer.
Anyway, Chisora had lasted all distance vs some boxers ranked really highly and larger than Usyk, so no wonder there.
Chisora is durable: he lasted all distance vs Parker who is looking in good shape and 241?lbs, younger than Usyk and already had went all distance vs A.J in A.J backyard and vs Ruiz in NZ. Then also 1 fight vs Fury and Whyte had lasted all distance.
I do not have time to list all his fights here.

Joshua team has already said that if Fury and Wilder fight then they'll take Usyk. It's definitely a riskier fight than Fury vs Wilder but I favor Aj to win a close decision
