Debating my top ten CW list

Congrats on misspelling just about every fighters name in your last post. At least you got Huck right. I'm done talking boxing with you. It's Jirov not Shirov, Gassiev not Gassjew, Bellow not Bellows and Glowacki not Glasskows. How can anyone talk boxing with you when you can't spell? Like I said, I rate Jirov and Gomez very high. They were high level amauter fighters before turning pro but I still believe this latest generation to be a better overall group. I took offense to your attitude. I'm fine with a disagreement but if you want to get personal I'm the wrong one. Don't ever threaten my life like you did in the other thread. I don't play that **** boy.

Like Usyk and Byrd, I think he'd beat Toney at arm's length, but have trouble with him on the inside. Everyone has trouble with Toney on the inside.

Prime Gomez tough for Toney, heavyweight Gomez easy for heavyweight Toney. Sinan Sam was hitting Gomez at heavyweight.

How impressive was his performance against Mormeck? Any more impressive than Bell's? No, less so, since he got knocked down by an older and more beat up version of JMM. Fragomeni? Terrible performance against a short, come forward slugger with a bit of craft that wasn't wowed by Haye's speed but ultimately lacked the quality to take him out. He looked good against guys he was supposed to look good against, and started to struggle once he began to fight at a higher level. There's no guarantee a fresher Mormeck, or even the Mormeck that lost to Haye couldn't have beaten him based on his performances.

Huck is the joint-longest reigning CW champion in history. I think that merits considerations when ranking. He was also a H2H nightmare for anyone, and nearly took out a prime Povetkin in a back and forth war. And while his resume isn't particularly impressive, I'd argue it isn't any worse than Haye's when you break it down: Lebedev/Mormeck, Afolabi/Enzo, Arslan/Fragomeni, etc (though the Lebedev win was highly disputed I'll grant you).

Huck had major limitations as a fighter, but then so did Haye. Neither man was some masterful technician despite Haye fans wanting to paint him otherwise. In fact, put a prime Huck and a prime Haye in the ring together and it's fifty fifty who gets taken out.

Gomez I think boxes the socks off Haye.

Wouldn't Hucks prime losses to guys like Cunningham and Glowacki prevent him from being rated very highly. He wasn't even able to beat the best of his own era.

Haye wasn't able to beat Carl Thompson. That's worse.

OK so I rank mainly on H2H, although that doesn't strictly mean the eye test, resume has to be considered so we know the level at which a fighter is performing.

I only include fighters I've watched fight, and I tend not to include active fighters as their placing is too dynamic.

Are there any people you feel should be in that aren't? Any orders that need changing?

I'm always a bit caught in two minds about this division because many of the best fighters at the weight range fought before the division existed imo. Guys like Langford, Dempsey, Marciano, Patterson, Joe Walcott, Charles, Tunney Bivins, Jack Johnson but I fell I can't really include them in a CW list as they never fought in a CW division, but I dunno, I'm open to being convinced on that one.

I'd be interested in seeing where you place the active fighters as we just had a cruiser golden age that could drastically shake your list up.

Which Holyfield victory over Qawi are you ranking? The knockout win?

Regarding Adamek. I think Banks was actually his best performance and Cunningham was his best win.
